Sign me up as well…I need something to get me off my ever growing ass.
Also…I accept bribes for any of my caches that appear on the list and may just also happen to be a puzzle.

Is there something wrong with the cache list??

From page 12 they are all the same. Is this the list or my computer not getting the updated pages?

It does that for me right from page one….all the same. I will run it as a query or something…..

    Woo Hoo!

    Awesome!
I know you were talking about getting one set up in Iowa; nice to see it finally up and running.
Do you accept guesses and Photoshop edited pics?
I’m sitting at 26 EC’s and with luck will grab a couple (or 4 ) more yet in Dec/ Jan.

Yep I knew I was derailing the thread a bit but somewhere in the back of my mind that little voice that is supposed to regulate staying on topic gets drowned out….
That said, I really was impressed with the video and the fact that kbraband was swimming in the deep blue.

One of the ones I’d hoped to place is at least 50 miles away, probably more. The county forester hasn’t responded to two emails yet, though. Might pick up the telephone.

I have a couple more ideas for earthcaches in the area, hopefully with some time off next week we can go cache in those areas and gather our needed info. Which counties were you hoping to visit? LOL

Well I found Earthcaches in Racine and Kenosha this past Sat…..

You could always go to another county and place one…I for one wouldn’t mind finding two near you….. 😉

The nice thing about Earth caches is that you can pretty much place them anywhere and never really worry about maintenance issues…..I have a couple well over 100 miles from home.

I’d like to break a few of his….but first I have to be able to find them….. 😉

    Wow that is really cool.

We sell those little buggers where I work….3 megapixles too, the price seems right, I may just have to pick one of those up….but what to do with it? I don’t scuba dive (I’m actually not a big fan of deep water). Hummm on my mountain bike? Who really wants to watch images from the top of my helmet as I crash? Rock climbing….hummm now there is a possibility, but what if I fell? Does anyone really want to see that? My Kayak trips are pretty tame normally (last years Pewaukee River Run was a high water thrill ride through a few tight corners), but it would be pretty cool to take along on a whitewater rafting trip. SKYDIVING!!!! Yes, that would be the place for this; now if I could only get the wife to let me do that again….oh and I’d need to convince myself that it’s actually not a dangerous and frankly insane thing to do.

These are really small cameras perhaps one could just throw it in the ol cachin’ bag to take film of the happy dance that comes when finding that one difficult cache…….

I need to check my data….Bandits actually made the 3,000 at Zumas Lake Pepin’s Origins Earthcache (GC13KMR) and along the way also found The Rock Elm Disturbance Earthcache (GC16KZC).

Congrats on the Platinum Earthcache Master milestone and # 3,000.

    Hiya!

Well there may not be as many caches in your area as there are in the Eastern portion of the state, but each area has lots to showcase and in your case you are going to see some fantastic sites. More does not mean better.

Yes, you are correct in assuming now is not the ideal time to begin caching; there is still some caching going on but it has dramatically slowed down due to the snow.

I hope our forums can help you get to know us a bit and to help you so see what some of the ins and outs of the sport are….

    Welcome.
