OK…I submitted for my Gold Pin on the 10th and haven’t gotten it yet….so I guess isn’t always a lightning fast turn around. Perhaps they are getting a lot of requests as more of these caches get placed. I was just spoiled by getting my first two pins so quickly. I hope go get Platinum by February with a little trip to MN.

Hey who poked you with a stick?
😉I’m just crabby because you won’t chat with me anymore 😉
Use Windows Live Messenger and I’ll hit ya up . That one is ALWAYS showing when I surf (which is nearly every minute I’m awake).
Great job Messa.
So I guess this is a common thing?
Sorry!ItŽs me again. Feel free to delete my log if you donŽt accept virtuell research.Maybe it would be a good idea, if you mention it in your cache listing, that you donŽt agree virtuel founds. Anyway, I had fun with your cache.Have a nice day!AnnaGram

I have been using Mozilla 2.0.0.9 and almost never use IE. I love the tabbed browsing and add ons that are fantastic. Oh yeah, Bill gates borrowed those ideas and messed it up bad on his new IE version.
Mozilla does rock but at times it fools you into thinking you are seeing everything on a page when in fact there is stuff that does not show up (or show up as intended). Even so it is my preferred browser….I’m hoping for a few new skins for the latest version (SeaMonkey) cuz it is still a bit too blah for my taste….
If you need some duct tape I have some you can use…granted it is camo. I’m glad you were lucky.
So was it telling about all the buried treasures or did it do a good job on reporting?

I always like things that have a historical significance too them. Maybe a history tour of the West Bend area via caching?
Or possibly hold more than one type of tour around the area….a history tour, a playground tour, a lamp-skirt tour…you get the point. Perhaps you could score swag for each tour you complete. I know my kids sure would like the playground tour….and me I sure do like to see lampskirts for some reason.

I have a question about the temp cache thing that Wisconsin gets blasted about so much in the forums.
What’s the purpose of the temp caches? If you’re going to the trouble of hiding caches, why not make them permanent?
I agree. Even 5-6 new caches within say 6-7 miles of a central point would be great. I wont even bother hunting down temps anymore, but listed caches, ya sign me up for those. Also as this location is already so filled with caches, not a whole lot of people have it totally cleared out anyway.
I would love to see a scavenger hunt or other fringe event tied to it as anything even a bit different is good. Oh and did I mention place 5-6 new cache in the area (and list them the day after the event).
Swag is always good too….gotta love good swag; nothing that is FTF based though as that gets old very fast fighting for that distinction and whatever prize goes along with it….make the prizes (if any) random.
So long as they are in La crosse, I like them really really hard.
😉I sure hope it is a toughie……make em work for it!
Thanks for the news. Now I can get back in the saddle….
I went to Iowa Sat to do an Earth cache…I saw this one on GC too but it was a bit too far for my taste…some day I hope to get to see it though cuz it looks really great.
Oh my gosh! That is so cool….now how did I miss this? Had I known, I might have come up to Appleton instead of going to Iowa for an Earth cache. But then again Iowa is known for being a real party state, and I sure do love a party….make sure to get this exposure on the boards next time….
