I think you have too much money.
All I ask is if you like my cache say so. My greatest reward is that someone comes away with a good memory and shares it with me.
Well food for thought: a meth lab was set up above a police outfitting store here in town….thugs are not generally known for their brilliance.
So what ever came out of all of this?
I would like to place an Earthcache in Brown county…possibly more than one.@3 Hawks wrote:
I wouldn’t bother marking the coords and I would actually conceal my GPSr. I’ve got tracks enabled and I can obtain coords from the tracks after I’ve made my retreat.
Good point….if you are seen with a GPS you are in trouble if you are seen marking the labs coords I’m thinking your trouble index just went through the roof….you may be better off getting it out of sight as quickly as possible and perhaps marking your coords if needed in your pocket and out of view….granted if confronted and the marked coords are found….I think this is where a +3 cloak of invisibility would be in order.
Getting a PDA would require me to learn new stuff and I’m soooo afraid to learn new stuff. As much as I’d like to go paperless, I’m just going to stay “less paperful.” I can live with one sheet of paper for every 10 caches I do.
I found and trashed out a bowl I found in an Appleton park.

I have three caches that uses the orange matchstick containers from Wal-Mart.
Zero water problems.
Of course the only bad part of this is that I’d have to shop at the evil empire 😕 I wonder if K-Mart has these as well….I sure do hate K-Mart…..
Thanks folks. I think I need to upgrade a bit.

I think Marc should be required to post parking coordinates and distance from the parking on all of his puzzle caches!
I’ll second that motion!!! 😈
I agree and already do this on most of my caches that have a walk longer than one quarter of a mile….it’s information I think should be on every cache page.
I’ve heard about that geocash thing…do they have shovels or do I need to bring my own?
THANKS!!!!

As you know, these have tasks have to be done to log the find. If a cacher does not do this and logs a find, I would assume I delete the log? I sent a reminder yesterday, but this cacher has not e-mailed me the required tasks answers. (I just feel guilty deleting someone’s log is all… 🙄 )
Well I have had to delete finds on my Earth caches now and I have had to badger a few people into sending me the information or to upload photos….kinda sux that people don’t follow directions (and even I am not immune from this failure to read, understand and comply with the cache page directions).
So basically what I’m sayin’ is that you need to be on your toes and be willing to delete finds if you want to have an Earth cache….
(and don’t get me started on waiting for permissions…..I’m again waiting….and waiting. It sux that I need to get permission to place an imaginary container in a public park.)
Well spoken Team Deejay. I gave up the FTF hunt some time ago….in fact there was a cache that listed less than half a mile from work the other day and while it would have been a simple score even without a GPS (dead end cache), I still haven’t gone to find it. The FTF came the day after it listed and I don’t think it has been found since…and that was already a week ago.
Granted being FTF (in the middle of the night…and in ice storms) when I started was a great deal of fun I soon realized that while I was getting bunches of FTF I was denying others the fun of being FTF…soon I lost all desire to be there first.
But I digress….I think that people “should” make an attempt to get their FTF logged as soon as possible so that others will be able to plan their day should that data be of significant interest to them….think of it as common courtesy.
I think even if it is allowed (and I sure hope it is not), it shows very bad judgment. The last thing we need is to give a reason to governing bodies to further regulate or eliminate our caches……
