How bout a large metal glove on one side? 😈
OK, OK…..I’d buy that one at least.@Team Deejay wrote:
If you liked your 60, I would recommend you replace it with a 60Cx……
I agree….if you are already familiar with a unit and don’t have a lot of issues with it I’d stick with a similar unit. I have the 60Cx and couldn’t be happier….though now I’m thinking about attaching a bobber to it when near water…..
(Oh and I have yet to lose signal with it; I’ve had it for about 6 months and have found about 350 caches with it.)

If this was brought up before sorry for not being able to find it but I was wondering how are people doing the form for Multi-caches. Are people just filling out the form with final location or a form per step or one full form for the final & the cords of each step attached?
I have reported each step on the same sheet; the form doesn’t allow for much more than one location but I squeezed it in there anyway….I suppose you could add a second sheet?
What type were you using previously?
I hate to admit it but I had no idea what a PSA number was until I googled it…..how’s that for staying informed?
*nevermind* sorry………-

I just have to observe that 46 out of 47 folks here report logging their DNFs.
I dont want to say that is high, but I have to say that I have tried a bunch of tough FTF chances, and noticed quite a bit of evidence of folks looking. And then when I go to log the find (or DNF, as the case may be), I notice no one has logged anything, yet there are several people who have put the cache on their watchlist.
Do you suppose that it is aliens doing that? 😉

Nah…those search attempts are me every time (and one or more of the 4 out of 5 attempts I didn’t log).
Really? In 10 months? WOW!
I got stuck in town and couldn’t make the opening……I’m hoping to make it up there in a few weeks… 😕
But on the bright side now I will have some cacher trails to follow 😈@The Hike and Seekers wrote:
Here is the latest ruling on firewood in the state: http://www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/land/parks/reservation/fires.html
Thanks for the clarification…I have been to several other campgrounds which flat out refuse to let you bring in your own wood…I have also been denied in state owned parks as well….nice to see what the policy really is.

I know cooking/food is on a familys own. But how many campfire rings are on a group site normally we just cook over open flame? Or should we plan on bringing a Colman stove along too? And while I’m asking about campfires what do we do about firewood besides buy it on-site do people normally bring wood with them from home?
Pretty sure they will require you to buy wood there. There is no carry ins of wood allowed at any state park these days due to those pesky elm eating bugs….
Very nice design! Good choice.

ottowa lake campground is a great state park. ….
Yep I agree. While I have never camped there I live about 6 miles from it and visit several times a year for swimming and kayaking with my kids.

I’m guessing an “Ignore Thread” button is not an option?
….How would you propose allowing people to undo the ignore topic operation, especially if you couldn’t see the topic anymore?
Ah a good question to be sure….but then again there are some threads that just beg to be hidden in perpetuity.
I’m guessing an “Ignore Thread” button is not an option?
