looks like my number runs are about over for the season …in the country at least 😉 I so hate those little buggers 😕 Thanks for the warning.
This is an interesting side effect of the DNR requiring us to file paperwork huh….I’m guessing they didn’t think of that when they decided to further regulate the parks we use.
It is a creative way to solve a puzzle cache though…..

thanks, i’m still talking myself into the upgrade. $300 plus software is a lot to spend when i already have 3 gpsr’s, but i’m so tired of not being able to find things under heavy cloud cover. keep the comments coming
What units do you have?
I was able to use my old maps with the new unit with the help of a conversion program…@Vegas Gamblers wrote:
We have it and love it. Upgraded from a Legend C and for us it really made a difference. The lock on to the sats is quick, even inside of our house. We have not lost a sat signal in the field since getting it, but our use so far has not been under heavy tree cover. Others have said that it will stay locked on in tree cover.
Yep this is exactly the way I feel as well. I had a Garmin Vista prior to buying this unit and couldn’t be happier! If you currently do not have auto routing you will be AMAZED at how much easier caching becomes when you don’t have to try to follow an arrow or unhighlighted maps to a cache location. I would say I have cut my drive time in at least half by using the auto-routing feature, so in other words this unit will pay for itself in saved gas money.
WOW!
Now there is a goal worth hitting…..CONGRATS!!!@PCFrog wrote:
There are so many missing or just being held that it might be easier to ask “Who has never had a TB lost or held captive?”.
😕
I was informed just yesterday that another of mine has gone AWOL….it happens; write them off and move on.
03/20/2007 at 9:06 pm in reply to: What is the strangest thing you have seen while Geocaching? #1871773I found a bong here in Ocon and a pipe in Appleton; that and foxes, coyotes, and bald eagles….which while not wierd are really cool.

If it is still there, just increase the difficulty and terrain levels as needed.

LOL….sounds like a boat may be in order to this one (that’s a 5-star!).
Nope; some people just suck rocks. I have written a couple of mine off at this point.
I think mine is 44ish, but I have several days in the 30s as well; I don’t log temps. 😉
But that said when I started 6 in one day would have been a big day for me. Two things have changed since then:
1…there are WAY more caches now and
2…using a new GPS with autorouting makes multiple finds MUCH easier to navigate to (more time spent caching and less time driving around trying to get to the cache location).Hooked! 😈
I was caching around Sussex, Lannon, Butler, West Bend, Germantown and Menomonee Falls and had no issues on Sat or Sunday….I even cleared up some previous DNF’s so the CIA and or UFOs were not problematic for me. I did however see a coyote…perhaps it was Wile E. Coyote, and he was messing with your GPS as he was goin after that crazy Road Runner? Granted I didn’t see any rockets, but you never know…
Looks like it’s official now! Nice work. I hope you didn’t get wet on this find…. 😆

Looks there is one or two more you could add to the list. These just popped up and are in or near Sussex.
Sussex Park and Walk GC11F3CEmma’s First Micro GC11F36
I did these today they are very close together and are both park and grabs; less than 15 minutes and you have them both.
Also
I wonder if maybe you might want to add: A Secure Park GC10WPQ
This cache is VERY close to the two above and is a park and grab…2 minutes drive time and 1 more minute of caching will score you this one.
I will NEVER pay to place caches in the parks. I’d either place them on city owned streets or avoid the area altogether. I think the park system and county are missing the fact the cachers are tourists and buy gas and eat food locally. Perhaps the local Chambers of Commerce could be informed about this and convinced that it is not in the county’s best interest to install the fee.
