marc – for the sanity of the rest of us …buy decaf! 😛
LoL.
I feel guilty caching near ya all as I know his caches are close by, but I can’t seem to bring myself to strain my melon figuring out where they are. Maybe I’ll accidentally trip over one some day.Nice job on the new plateau. But what’s that in the distance a higher mountain and another challenge. Congrats!
Turns out I’m a bit obsessive….

LOL! Actually, I thought you might do this.

😕 I’m still recovering from the last one….

Just walk out your front door and yell “GEOCOINS!!!” Wether there are any or not cachers will come running.
These are still down for maintenance…when they are back up I plan on setting up a go for date.

If someone wants a couple, I have no need to have 8 coins, I’ll sell some of mine at cost.
Yep same here…. plus shipping 😉
All I need is one of each color and I’m a happy guy.OK it looks like these will be costing each of the buyers $49.41 (for 8 coins). So that said I’m having mine shipped to me as I’m not sure I will be able to attend the distribution EVENT (ADD $3.50). So my cost per coin should be $6.61.
I will have 5 to sell for $6.61 + $1.50 for shipping and materials. If anyone wants one please PM me. It looks like these will be here in late May/June.@marc_54140 wrote:
So …. that means you do not like my puzzles?! 🙁
Would not want any advice from me? 😥
Ummmm your puzzles are a bit on the hard side…..
Pam feel free to take a look at my collection of puzzles and see if there is a puzzle you’d be interested in and if so drop me a PM. Puzzles don’t NEED to be hard.
I guess I’m not a purest as with the exception of two of my puzzle caches, I could care less if my logbooks are signed or not.
Who is someone hurting if they fake a find; not me. I really don’t get people who check their logbooks against the on-line smiles……but I guess if doing so adds to someones enjoyment of this game, power to em’. Personally I geocache for fun not to practice my book keeping skills; I have work for that.

We did get a few inches of snow yesterday, close to a foot on the ground… but nothing unusual ,pretty average for up here.
As far as the March 1st date that was dictated by the grant it had to start then.
Main roads should be pretty clear by the afternoon. They are a bit snow covered at 6:30 a.m. No school cancellations here. So come on up!!!

Ah…forgive me I’m just bitter about the weather. LB7=snow hater.
I’m very excited to get up there to visit this summer/spring.
I’m guessing March 1 was a bit early to launch this event……

…When my son does a new “goto” at the same time as myself he’ll often start out in the wrong direction until his Legend (no electronic compass) gets its bearings and swings around- sometimes the opposite direction. This is an even bigger pain if you’re in the car and start out the wrong way. With the electronic compass my 60CSx is pointing me in the right direction without my moving at all. …
…”you’ll know who has an electronic compass because they’ll be turning circles calibrating the thing”. You don’t have to turn circles- only the GPSr does. Set it in your palm, turn it two times around- you’re good to go…
Hope this helps.Yep, One Paddle short makes a valid point about the electronic compass though I always used my Garmin Vista with the compass turned off and had no problems.
I was one of those who spun in a circle the first couple of times I needed to calibrate the compass 😳
