I finally got my new GPS60cx out on the road and ran it through it’s paces. It worked great and it made the road trip that much easier. However, at one point the detailed mapping all went away and reverted back to the base map. I opened the unit and found the SD card had slipped out of position. I was sure it was in correctly and locked in place. I didn’t bump the gps at all so not sure why that happened. I guess it is possible that the Kingston SD card wasn’t a glove like fit after all.
In all this first real outing with it went very well and I’m primed for the next trip…….I can highly recommend this unit (so far). But then again I made it to 600 with my Garmin Vista just fine too 😉

Thanks for the ideas and keep em coming…..
The event will be in a rural area of Chippewa Falls, right on the Chippewa River, so if the Honeybunnies want to put their Mount10bike coin up for a kayak contest…………..
I have a couple of Kayaks….and I have been known to race them 😉

If someone wants a couple, I have no need to have 8 coins, I’ll sell some of mine at cost.
Yep same here…. plus shipping 😉
All I need is one of each color and I’m a happy guy.I have one I can send you…..assuming Bec says it’s OK.

I would like to state that we would vote for more coins being produced.
If you really want MORE of them I’m sure I could spare a couple. I only plan to keep 2 coins (one of each color), so I will be trading off the rest of my coins or letting them travel.
OK talked me into it I will be there next week to take a few more smiles back home with me…. I only have 4 puzzle caches solved so far though (and that does not mean I will find the caches). Either way I’ll be on the prowl.
Welcome to the frey.

It might be nice if you buy some apples…….
That might be a problem as I’m deathly allergic to apples 😯
Thanks for the heads up.Based on the intel I have gotten (Thank You) it looks like I will be leaving with about 15 caches found…I hope. I think I will leave the South East caches for my next trip. I’ll be wearing tall boots (no not the waders I bought for the Gauntlet
) so even if it warms a bit I’ll be A-OK.Thanks everyone. 8)
Will attending the final event be the only way to get a coin this year?
I see myself hitting 30 or so caches (I hope more but I’m trying to be realistic).@knoffer wrote:
There is 2 North of Hwy 142 and 6 South of Hwy 142 in Bong that could be difficult to find with snow cover.
So are there any of these in particular you would recommend me passing on with the current snow cover?
Also looking at the map and it looks like there may be more than one way into the park; is that the case?
