Count us in, wouldn’t matter to me if team names are on it or not.
As a trade item it would have more “Value” without the names on it ……but to have my name on a coin would be pretty cool too.

Ya know there are plenty of puzzles down my way………hint hint.
Do you want them solved for you too?
Nah….I’m actually fairly good at that kind of work on my own. But, at the same time I’m glad Marc is just far enough not to tempt me to solve his…. 😉
Congrats!

I will use the time/date in the post to prove who gets on the coin.
More to come soon. Thanks to all who found this to be a fun idea.
MikeLooking at Wheypoint, it shows the posts as “hours ago” and “days ago.” I’m sure Cheesehead Dave can get you the actual timestamps for those posts though….
When this story first came out I was so hoping this wasn’t another geocache story!
Looks like the latest design is a winner and that there are plenty of takers for the project. 8)
MY Motto submission:
“Caching without borders”
it is very uniform…I like it
I’m not a tech guy but there are plugs which convert usb to serial and viseversa…it’s a simple cheap adapter…or is that not what you are asking?

I like the green and gold corn on one side and the barn silhouette on the other.
I agree BARNS would be an awesome design idea perhaps with a silo.
@CinemaBoxers wrote:I cant see as to why the NFL would object, being as though all those involved will be trading, and not ‘selling’ the coins.
But, as I said, Ideally, we would be keeping with the green and gold theme.
Just making mention that there shouldn’t be anything blatant like a Packers “G”.
*EDIT*
Oh and I like the Green and Gold corn on the state image, I would just replace the corn on the other side with something like the barn image.Just be aware that the NFL sues for anything that smacks of football.
Count me in as well but I’d prefer the coin to not have team names on it….(but if my name HAS to go on it so be it).
WOW, that is one cool looking coin.
Oh and the travel bug idea is OK but in these parts there are FTF hogs who would clear out every cache as soon as the coords were given out and all you’d have done is give 18 bug tags to one or two groups; a better idea may be to release them a bit at a time……

(I voted for the non-trackable coin though)

I did as well, but realistically if it’s free who wouldn’t want the trackable one? No one says you need to activate it, so it comes down to how much extra value does a trackable coin have over a non-trackable one? To me there is little if any added value to a trackabe coin as I generally don’t release them…or in some cases even activate them.
