    Puzzle caches = 😈 😛 8)

I’ve done this as well. Just be sure you don’t make the multi too hard. Really dumb it down. I made the mistake of gearing it towards a geocacher and these were really noobs…

I submitted two notices for my Lapham Peak hides about two months ago and not heard boo back…I guess silence is golden.

It does allow me to keep track of my stages and final location on the server which is nice, and for that reason alone I think it is a good thing.

I do feel that the wording used to tell you how to assign the wps is very difficult to follow at best, and that the limited ability to assign names is frustrating.

In the end though if it helps the approvers (does it?) I’m all for it.

There is one in Nashotah sitting in Darkness GCY6WX right now…but it’s a toughie. There is a person who is close to solving the puzzle though so if you want it you’d better hurry.

    Hi!
……is there any way for other cachers to ‘identify’ you while you are caching!

    Aside form the secret handshake…?

I’ve met about 20 ish other caching teams on the trails….introductions are always made….

Hummm…now this sounds familiar…it’s not another horse clinic is it??? That would be weird. If it wasn’t so far I’d help them out as the last one I did was a blast.

I ordered one and never got one (they must have run out), so I hoped to see one at the WGA Picnic and didn’t. I still have not seen one in other that a pic. 🙁

Guess you missed the big hand out. We brought a bunch of back from Camp Jeep. Passed out about 20 of them at the WGA picnic. Had ’em hanging out of my pocket and gave them to people who commented or asked about them. We still have a few…we plan to start planting them in caches, but won’t post them! We’ll just drop them and people will get a nice surprise when they find them.

I was tipped off that you were going to have them but alas…I’m shy so I didn’t ask. 😳

I’ve done it many times; once both me and the guy right next to me both had ours out…

Actually there are pockets around the country that share the same practice; ultimately if it’s allowed by the cache page owner, it is up to each individual to decide for themselves if they wish to log more than once. There are lots of good arguments for and against and to be honest it is a very tired subject.
    To each his (her) own.

That makes sense, although I didn’t know “Geocaching” was trademarked! Now I do.

I’m not sure that it was a trademark issue but perhaps feelings were hurt or that the film maker just wanted to go another way with his version of the game; there are threads about this in the GC forums.

Just curious if anyone noticed the called it a “GPS Hunt” throughout the trailer instead of Geocaching? I wonder why. 😯

They were denied permission to tie in with Geocaching.com. The web site felt the movie wasn’t family friendly enough.

I saw it go up yesterday…not sure when I’ll be able to get out that way now that school has started.
