I’m running Mozilla and have the same issue with the tabs.

The option to view a caches page views appears when you have a “member-only cache”. It’s a neat feature. I too would like to see that function enabled on all caches.

This type of behavior can threaten our permissions…
Dead wood is another story altogether so long as we aren’t out there with chainsaws and dynamite.

in reply to: Travel Bug metal tags being taken from bugs #1741085

It is happening in the Ocono/Watertown area as well, a local cacher told me he found a bug this week missing it’s tag.
    Nice, real nice.

*EDIT* By bad the opposite was true on this persons find; he found a TB last week that had the item removed and the tag left behind. I guess this is the chance we take and we know it going into it.

We have a few around here and they sure do keep the rabbit population down.

I put shiny gold colored pins in most caches…that will have to do.

in reply to: What have you heard about Terracaching? #1741075

I found out that there are 2 caches within 100 miles of my house and that if I dont seek one of them or place one the people who sponcered my membership withdraw my membership just as fast.

I did the Roberts cache a few weeks ago. It was a cool cache with a nice history attached. I love wall murals and as it turns out I was visiting the church right accross the street from the given coords; odd how Geocaches are everywhere you go.

I have one out in the field right now, unfortunately it is a cache which I do not expect to get winter traffic. I’ll report back in the spring if it handled the elements well though.

LOL. Caches in this area last about 2-3 hours before getting found. We have some very motivated finders here.

Thanks for the props. I kinda lost interest when I was beat out on two FTF’s. Those are very hard to get in my area. It was a hoot while playing though. Next time I hope I hear about it right away so I can be one of the first to complete.
It was nice to see Pharmteam just squeek under the wire on this one though.
