Year six for me as well…

The Puzzle cache at Renger was not explained in the booklet at all and that was a huge oversight. Not everyone has paperless and many folks had no clue this was a puzzle. If this is to be included there must be an explanation in the booklet.

Far too many code words…they get passed around like crazy. Get rid of them. Every cache can have a stamp. If you want an evil micro cache make it a multi stage one and have the container point to a spot further away which has the stamp.

The cache in Newberg…really one cache way out there? What was the point of that other than maybe to get us closer to a new series of park and grabs. Bring the caches closer to center. This is a West Bend event and we were hardly in West Bend. I think it’s time to do some culling around town to make room for new caches.

Prize drawings still too drawn out…but much better than the year of the gun-lock.

Cache page has all the info but did anyone actually read it? I get distracted after about 50 or so words on a page…I know lots of folks come from afar and feel better with more info so I guess this is a necessary evil.

The hides this year were fabulous; the best I have seen yet.

Again the event was highly organized.

A great number of hides were placed as well…just the right amount of them.

Love that it starts on Friday noon!

There are not nearly enough guard rails near me to collect all those. I’d have to move further north.

Great pics at the cache and a great-looking family. Congrats on the 1500 finds, Opps5!

…and they are all GREAT soccer players! Congrats to them.

Finding all those signpost / guard rail caches in WB is about as much fun as watching paint dry. That said, I have found a bunch of them…its hard to drive anywhere in town without passing a dozen or three on the way….but they get tedious very quickly. Congrats on your stamina.

There have been several books published with real treasures to find through out the years…I first heard of one some 30ish years ago.

“a Treasures Trove” is one book with a real hidden treasure published in 2004.

If someone wants to play Frisbee on my grave when I’m dead I’d be happy to have the company. When I’m gone I’m gone. I love cemetery hides and will do them at every opportunity. But, they should not be difficult to find.

guess who will be sporting 1 pair of those 100 shoes…..:-)

OK KEEN is in my top 3 for customer service. I broke off a eye-hook for my work boots and filed a warranty claim. I specifically stated I was not asking for a refund or replacement. I just stated that I thought they should be using solid steel for the hooks rather than a brittle cast material. I was just now granted a $180 credit for the store…..I’m torn about using the credit; what to you think?

Impressive….if that length is still allowed I should have no problem.

What I have in mind would be a puzzle….not one which a paperless cacher could solve in the field. But you do make a good point, I’d put right at the top of the page that this is a lengthy page and not meant to be attempted paperless.
