I’m afraid there were many who thought it was gibberish before you messed it up. 😆 Seriously, this is one of my favorite puzzles in the area, so I’m glad you got it repaired.
I quite enjoyed this one as well…..lots of hard work in the solve…and the find. Let me know if you would like me to HTML the page for ya once you get the rest of the missing text.
I can’t believe that will stand up if challenged in court. Once the property is left on public domain I can’t believe it is anything more than garbage….per say.
I haven’t found the EC to which you reference. Most ECs are possible if you are able to spin it correctly. Contact Geoaware and see what his thoughts are…
There is public assess to this site?
😯
I think no matter what permission should be looked for at a location such as this. Not sure an EC would work as this is not naturally occurring but you could send an email to Geoaware and inquire.@Scrappy Scout wrote:

On the top of the page click on “album actions” > “add photos”.Tim from Black Belts has a full copy (10/22/2005). Will this work? It seems to me you changed that one later on…

Also sorry to the half dozen or so people who arrived after 3pm and discovered the chili had run out. We thought we had made more than enough for 100 people (at least per the recipe that was used). I all can say is blame those that proceeded you :)… they must have had some big appetites and really chowed down to go through probably 60+ pounds of chili so fast.
It was gone by 2pm.
Not a huge deal though…but yes a bummer. I guess the early bird gets the worm. Still the event was fun and the fire was great.Might not want to wait too much longer for these as there is not much more time for the ice to be “reliable”. Ice fishing buddy of mine has stated that some of the rivers are already getting pretty thin.

I took hide difficulty into consideration when making my list.

One other note worth mentioning…last time I had a handful of puzzles solved for the valley I came out with high hopes only to DNF the first three caches I looked for…so just solving the puzzles and having coords does not make a find. There is still the pesky business of actually signing the logs…but I think the last time I made an attempt at some of those puzzles I had about 1,000 less finds so maybe I’ll have better luck this time out.

Hey, now that you have all the puzzles solved, will you take me along? 😈
I have a bit of work to do to get to that point…at the moment I’m gathering and sorting information. The first list will include Benny’s on site solves, Marc’s 900 series WSQs and bits and pieces of the other information I received from Cheeto and Gotta Run… Step two is to organize the easy desk solves….the whole process will take quite a while I imagine. Unless I devote a whole day to the actual seeking of these (which is unlikely) I will be stealing away from the inlaws for a few hours pre-sunup (not the WSQs of course) to about 9ish am on some Sat and Sunday…hopefully before the snow all disappears (or we get more of it)…so in short, I’ll likely have to do these solo.
OK…OK. Uncle!
Thanks for the help everyone….Now I’ll go through the lists and start looking em over and planning a route….or more likely routes.😛

15 miles is a pretty big radius! Let me recommend a few within a few miles of your starting point.
Thanks for all those…Like I said, I do get up fairly often so time really isn’t a huge issue…If I’m able to find enough doable puzzles I might dedicate a full day to the task rather than a few hours (which is my normal practice when visiting the area).
I appreciate everyone’s help in weeding out some friendlier puzzles. I will start looking at all the suggestions made thus far by everyone.
Thanks!

Name a center spot Cache, around which you are thinking you will be caching.

Basically the foot bridge across the water is Ground Zero (Menasha) for my desired hunts….though clearly the bulk of puzzles are north of that (Appleton)…which is OK as well. I’m looking at a radius of about 10 to 15 miles.@benny7210 wrote:

My hope is that on my next visit up I can knock out a few dozen caches…with only puzzles on the menu. I appreciate the help. -
