Interesting feature; I’m smack dab in the eye of the dragon.

And I wouldn’t call what SG is doing as trolling. It’s all symantics. My point was clear.
Can’t believe it but I’m going to agree with you…I should have said soliciting votes not trolling.
I recall when this cache was archived, I’m pretty sure this was in the forums some time ago….and I wouldn’t consider the statements above “bashing”. Granted this thread may not help him get the votes he may want.

Let’s see. This is the guy who claimed to have permission for a cache in a Wal-Mart parking lot. Then a finder ended up in the back of a squad car. Great…..
Nice…
The whole concept of recognizing folks is just plain irritating to me….as is trolling for votes.
Yep….the work behind the scenes do deserve a big thank you.
I bought two pairs last month…quality is amazing. I got a pair of deck shoes and steel-toed work boots. Good to see there are a still a few companies who have great customer care.
My customer service faves so far are:
Garmin
REI
Nike (online)
…and believe it or not, Best Buy.I hope I never need to add KEEN to the list but I glad to hear it may make the cut as well.

Using “I seen …” instead of “I saw” or “I have seen”
Where I work every day is treated like a double negative celebration…I have a hard time believing people actually graduated from high school…
“…there aint nuthin’ there…”
-Really? So if there aint nuthin there what is there?
What I do when traveling is shoot a couple of emails off to local (to the area I’m going) cachers and ask for tips and highlights. It works great.
At another mountain range 100 miles South of Gatlinburg I found a few great caches near Brevard NC.
When I began I had trade items and lots of other stuff in tow…but at that time micros were far less common out there…now I cache with a GPS and a pen…I find that combination works for 99.99% of everything.
Watching the video of this and seeing the trail missing guard rails in places actually made me nauseous….
I do have a climbing harness and equipment but I’m still afraid of heights. Tie me in and I can manage the fear but without a rope heights scare the hell out of me.
Even those steps up the steeple at Holy Hill scare the crap out of me (it’s been about 10 years since I was last up the tower…maybe they are better now?).
Finding archived caches is not that uncommon. I have found by chance several finals, stages of multis and letterboxes. In all I think I have found about 10 archived listings / letterboxes by chance. If you get out in the woods and have done this long enough you kinda have a sense as to where these things will be.
I would have a heart attack just seeing that trail.
I have zero points as well…my educated guess is that this function of the forum is not being used.
I’m “too stupid” to answer this…
With $ on the line for pics….I don’t foresee many of these making their way into caches…at least until January and even then maybe 30% of these will get released.
