Looks like a cling for me….I got all the caches the first year but I find fewer and fewer as each year goes by….not sure what to expect for a tally this year.
You could all save me a bunch of time if you’d just list weather your final is an ammo can or not right in the cache title….I hate having to take the time to get to final locations only to find out you used Tupperware. I can’t resell Tupperware…
I propose everyone make this easier…if you have an ammocan as the final your cache name should be: “Steal this Ammocan: (then insert city name here).”
For example I have two ammocans at Lapham Peak. Those I should rename “Steal this ammocan: Lapham 1” and “Steal this ammocan: Lapham 2.” Seriously, think of all the time and gas money you’ll be saving folks by renaming your listings…

We have started making all of our caches premium, I know this will make them unavailable to the free players, but what about the smart phone market, we do not have one so do not know, do the still have to have a premium membership to access?
I think the query for C:GEO runs off of an existing players own profile….

Thanks for the info on this class. I’ve been on-the-fence about purchasing a new GPS… updating my Oregon300 and I cannot decide what to buy. I’ve been reading reviews, would like to switch to Magellan Explorist mainly because of the 10,000 caches it can hold but I just don’t know if I can adjust to Magellan after 2 Garmins.
I think my new Garmin 62 series can hold 10,000 caches…they talk about waypoints on the website but those are not the same as geocahes. It holds far more caches than waypoints.
I just like the word “funzies”.
Here’s the front for anyone wondering…
the spam around here is getting worse every day.
Me wonders how much begging and pleading for hints was directed his way…
Not sure what the issue is…sounds like you are doing it correctly but I’m not a Mac guy….as for the two files, the larger one contains the Geocaches and the smaller file has the additional waypoints. Both files should load independently of each other…in other words if you don’t want the additional wpts (smaller file) you do not need to load it.
That said, I never “save” the GPX to the computer, I just drag it into the GPX folder from the opened zip file.
…Does the Mac open the zip file? I’m pretty sure the file needs to be unzipped before you drag it to the GPX folder.
This is indeed a worthy and fun series…Get out yer bike and enjoy the trail….and there are nice rock walls to gander at as well.

I was looking at what this cacher has accomplished, and I was amazed! What do you think?
They’re a bum! 😉
Ya not too fond of that guy myself.
I have only seen one cache which would violate this rule and it was placed in 2001 in the Southern Kettle…it still looks to be there…but I’m guessing it was placed well before many of the rules came into play.

Congratulations on the purchase! Maybe we can meetup sometime for a paddle. Find other active sea kayakers here: http://www.meetup.com/Wisconsin-kayakers/
And here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/233887563375209/Trust me Ken you have been on my short list of who to contact to get some help out on the big lake…I know you like to teach folks stuff and I’m an eager student. I’ve been kayaking for the past 10 years but on rivers and small lakes exclusively.
Unfortunately I have been nursing an ongoing injury which will keep me sidelined for some time yet…
But, do expect to hear from me in the next few months…I hope. 😛

Did you wave as you were checking out that awesome quarry?
I did love all the stone out in yer neck of the woods. All I have is boring gray dolomite.
