That has a little bit of the flavor of the MN State Park Challenge. If you complete a geographical quarter of the parks you’ve attained one level, and there’s another if you complete the whole enchilada.

I’ve talked with Zuma about this being a fun idea to steal for Wisconsin. There are at least several state parks I haven’t been to.

Perhaps that would be a good way to approach it…each criminal resides in a different state park…to do the series I envision, I’d want the caches all to be at minimum larger sized small containers.

(not to say that this is the way the criminals need to be hunted down-I’d not take your challange idea away…just throwing this out there)

Hummm…..I just thought of perhaps having a Geocachers Most Wanted challange. We could have a number of criminals hiding around the state and to claim the cache you’d have to capture a certain number of them (or all of them). It would require people from different areas of the state to place caches…all caches would use the same page text and the only thing different would be the wanted poster> It’s more of a traveling challange than a numbers run.

Does anyone have interest in this?

What about a nice 5 across challenge?:

I prefer the challenges to be simple and really hard to complete…though ones like this are more attainable to the populous (though that is not necessarily a good thing as it diminishes the grandeur of other extreme challenges).

I know you asked for WI challenges but posting these might encourage someone to create these challenges here…

A challenge which is dear to my heart is GC1D56M “A Century of Earthcaches” in North Carolina.

…and the same thing in Utah GC18W7C “Challenge of the Century: Earthcaches .”

…and in CA, GC1E8E1 “California Challenge of a Century: Earthcache.”

One in MN combining ECs and Virtuals is GC1F2JP “Century Challenges – Virtual/Earthcache.”

…and another of those in Indiana, GC1A8GQ “Challenge of the Century: Virtual and Earthcaches.”

I’m actually very excited about these lists; I plan to get working on the total blackout….I find myself due for a new goal attempt….I’m in another slump, I have not found a cache yet this month 🙁 It seems my OCD has taken another path.
