the American wayMy GPS (Lowrance)when turned on, has a disclaimer that is shown stating that you should not be using the device as your primary means of navigation.
I’m pretty sure my Garmin does as well….and if not, it IS written in the start up guide and unit directions….

the American way…I hope it was a Magellan. 😉
I should be able to hide on the 23rd…on the 24th I plan to compete in the Urban Assault Ride in MadTown… 🙄 Some day I will be too old for these races…

We’ve always said Duh-LORM. We’ve also heard all sorts of variations.
Ya….Duh-lore-um.
da-lore-um
Is the way I have always heard it.I hope all goes well and quick. I get nervous when bushwhackin’….but city hides are so unrewarding at times…
Here is a pic I took of one of them: GC15H1Q

…and to think I met him on trail back when he had only a handful of finds…and was certain I’d stay ahead of him…..I guess I was a bit off on that one. I think I need to move to Appleton or West Bend to catch back up….
Grats.
WOW that is cool!
Thanks for sharing. But I ask….why would he want to visit Oconomowoc?
This place is a disaster! Many of the main roads are closed and construction is everywhere! Business are losing money and closing up due to people not being able (or willing) to get the the stores past all the detours. The local bike shop has let go all but one part time guy and the owner says traffic in front of his store went from, “over 80 cars an hour to less than 80 a day”. The fact that he has time to count cars also is telling…..
OK sorry for the aside; I was just venting frustration. The detours, construction and closed roads around here are getting ridiculous.
Interesting story though…is there ANY truth to it?
Ferrys
From the South at Mackinaw City: N45 46.652 W84 43.274
…or from the North at St.Ignace: N45 52.019 W84 43.284
…just bring lots of money the ferry’s aint cheap.
I was there two years ago last week…sadly that was before most of the ECs got placed there….and most all the other caches as well. I so wish I was going back again…..maybe someday.
The funny thing is when we were there I was on the mainland and walked about 100 yards into the water and found a ring in the sand….it was a black stone ring…very odd luck to find that way out in the water like that and in the sand to boot.
Winter without snow…I love caching in the cold weather!
They are back up…they were down for a few hours this morning. All my cache page puzzle images and photo album images were broken images.
Travel bugs are fun but be aware some are bound to go missing…I actually have two that found there way to Europe and were actually within about 200 miles of each other at one point there to boot. One of my bugs has been out for 4 years and has traveled 7,000 miles; its in the Netherlands at the moment….and another has 17,000 miles and is in Ireland. Neither had a goal of going overseas but both wound up there….they can really be fun to watch.
Welcome to the fold.
