FTP for Saturday Woke up to some snow. The international Space Station was out there at 6:55 am but cloudy skies were in the way of the view. Be safe out there in our state of “WisCovid!”

Incredible to see bare ground this morning. No snow in Washburn, just rain. I like it!

I wouldn’t say I am enjoying this wet snow in October. Roads are clear of the 1-3 we had overnight. But more coming. Now to watch out for the crazy deer as the rut will be in full swing soon. They will be scrambling for food before more snow hits again. So far no visits to the garden, but I know they will be here soon enough. Covering carrots and beets today with straw for winter harvesting. Yum!

FTP for Tuesday Dark morning with more snow on the way. Saw something on Facebook, “Those who decorate for Christmas in October are to blame for the snow! So STOP IT!”

FTP for Friday on a surprisingly snowy morning! Yikes! I covered some of the garden but with continuing colder temps overnight I think I’ll kiss it good-bye. 🙁

FTP for Wednesday. Rainy day activities on board today. Cold weather coming ends the painting for the fall (I think). Hope to go caching sometime this week.

Painting, Gardening, and Pears, Oh My! Working on outdoor tasks and canning pears today. Lots to due before the snow flies.
If you are Up North there are three labs now in Ashland, Washburn, and soon in Bayfield.

FTP Saturday Foggy morning out here Up North today. Dodged severe T-storms and a tornado warning last night. Had two downpours in about an hour. Thankfully I stopped painting early in the day.

FTP for Thursday The much needed rain moved out, but now cooler temps. Changing from painting to scraping the final section on the house. Wishing well for a Hayward friend who will have a funeral today for her spouse who passed away from a mountain bike accident. It’s a sad day for her and the Hayward Community as he was such an active community member. Lighting candles today at 11 am in their honor. Too much active Covid now in my area for me to feel safe to attend.
