Wow! Cache-of-The-Month nominations have been active these last two months! Awesome!

True – weather doesn’t stop some cachers, but thunderstorms might roll in. I don’t have a lightning reflector in my TOTT bag.

Great feedback and discussions. Being a former US Forest Service employee, we should also consider our National Forest public lands as possible WGA venues as well. This includes the Great Lakes Visitor Center near Ashland, WI – a fantastic site for a WGA event. The Managers have been great to work with and see the value of geocaching as an educational aspect for families. No fee to visit either.

Leaving pathtags in special caches and trading at events. Got into the “ducks” and now place toys for kids. The WGA Campout will likely have Kids Candy Cache and a Kids Toy Cache which I’ll have some things to add.

The “Night Caches at the Campout” are registered from 9 am to Noon the day of. Generally, there is no preregistration of these, therefore no early numbers to tell you! Your three possibilities sound interesting! Perhaps I’ll put one out too.

It seems like there are a lot of “April Fool Hangovers” today for me to squeek in a FTP for this Sunday morning?

Go BADGERS! Beat Florida State!
And hope North Dakota beats Boston Univ. in hockey. It’s 3-3 and overtime – so the first to score wins.
Then Univ. of Minn-Duluth plays Ohio State – so I have to lean towards UMD !

Most of the time I enter unique logs, unless it is a power trail or many caches in a day.
However, what irks me as a CO is: Found it! or TFTC There really has to be a law against these!! 🙂

I don’t always understand how the updates work, but I did post notes to two Lonely Caches I checked and reported in January 2017. So I earned points in the LCGame. GC4GNZQ and GC1WT13
In March-April they still appear on the map and list as Lonely Caches. Do these have to have a logged find to erase them from the list? Just asking so I understand why they still appear.
