FTP Post-Chili Day More snow coming tonight Up North. about 7 inches due to the Lake Superior Snow Machine cranking it up again with NorthEast winds. I’m spending more time moving snow that skiing across it lately.

Well another post, getting closer to the next page. Looks like icky weather comning for down state on Thursday. The sturgeon spearing on Lake Winnebago looks dicey for traveling on the ice this weekend. My family in Fondy participates in the activity, but they are smart with where and when they go out. Any cachers out there spear for sturgeon?

FTP for the 8th Ski conditions were very good yesterday, but will not go out today with the sun out bringing warm temps. Likely the snow will be like skiing on “mashed potatoes!” Instead likely switch to cleaning up the vehicle today

FTP for Tuesday the 7th 1.3 inches of snow last night and 34 degrees at 5 am. Will look to cleaning up my vehicle today after the sloppy roads. Gathered a lot of salt and sand on travel to Ironwood for xc skiing yesterday. But well worth the trip! Ski conditions were absolutely fantastic.

FTP for GroundHog’s Day. No shadow for the groundhog Up North here with light snow falling. Had a great xc ski yesterday at 12 degrees during the heat of the day. Not looking forward to tonight or tomorrow’s bitter cold, but a warm-up is coming this weekend and into next week.

There is a great candidate list for this year’s BOD Elections. I took time to read through the Candidate responses to the many questions asked of them. Every year the WGA members who volunteer to run for the BOD are already giving their time to answer these questions. This is a very important feature to be able to made an informed decision on who the members will select. I’m ready to vote now! Thanks and good luck to all candidates!

FTP for Tuesday It’s “National Hot Chocolate Day” and so appropriate for the well below 0 temperatures and terrible windchills. Yesterday Embarass MN had -32 below for the lowest of the lows. Now that is a big chill! Now it’s time to make a hot chocolate to start my day. This looks like a good day to work on solving those puzzle caches.

FTP for Saturday. Woke up early with the snow plow pushing snow back on the streets. Maybe 1 inch of snow fell since the last time they were out moving it. Turned on the TV and watched the Women’s Tennis championship match of the Australian Open. Well worth getting out of bed to watch! Repeating the program at 8 am this morning too.
