The two caches I’m talking about are GC6EAHM Signs, and GC6EXVT Otter Lake Boat Launch. There isn’t any “Need maintenance” log on either one of them. Just some DNF logs. One of the e-mails came from Geocaching HQ the other was from a reviewer.

I don’t know what’s going on. He published several cache’s earlier now they aren’t.

I don’t know him but he has been busy today.

This one I do know. Each one is counted as one. It doesn’t recognize a double download.

Who increased the fees? The city/ park? I would have the chamber look into it. If they want this to be a yearly thing making it easy for vendors to return, Cut the fee or wave it all together.

I would think the Manufacturers just being there answering question will help in future sales. Not many people are going to make on the spot buy of $200 – $600 piece of equipment. Information sells.

I have a question. Once you downloaded and used it to find the cache how do you delete it from your favorites? I can delete it from recent finds but can’t figure out how remove it otherwise.

I do have the Nuvi. I’ll have to give the GSAK a try. I have called my GPS many names, but not a person. My GPS wanted me to drive over a dike on Lake DuBay.

I bought the cedarcide also. I use that on the dogs mostly. I use the Repel and other chemicals on myself. They aren’t going to hurt a mutant like me.

Sounds like a worthy cause. You can PM me about it.

I’m new and guess I just don’t understand. What’s wrong with many options for cache’s? That’s just what they are options. You can choose to hunt them or not. You can load just the cache’s you want and weed out the ones you don’t. Your not talking hundreds of people a year stomp to these caches. Your looking at like 20 – 30 attempts a year per cache. You also got to remember a lot of people plan trips with geocaching in mind and a park is a sweet bonus. Why plan a trip to a place with only a couple of cache’s? I guess your a hiker with caching as a side where as I’m caching with hiking on the side.

I never met her but when I started a couple of months ago I read logs. Then I found I was reading hers. Not the usual “I found it” log. Hers were stories that soon became adventures. In those adventures you could see her passion for this game/ sport/ hobby or what ever you want to call it. She is truly one person I really did wish I could meet.

I had free time today so went up to Rhinelander again. I wanted to do a couple of woodcarverdan’s gadget caches. 1st one I finally figured it out. Felt like a genius. Next one made me feel like a moron. Didn’t get it. Next one I’m a genius again. Even his regular hides are pretty good.

Everyone do yourself a favor and get to Rhinelander and try these caches. Well worth the trip.

Someone said he is archiving some of his caches. Well he has well over 200 caches that are his. I can see scaling back a bit.

No gadget caches but did hit his Travel Bug hotel. Had to be 20 plus guests.
