Contact Genius Loci via the Groundspeak site. I know for a fact that he has maps on his palm. I’ve seen them many times while caching w/ him. They have rivers and lakes on them…some even have trails marked.
(Tell him I told you to email him…he’ll think it’s funny because I always pick on him about having them on his palm.)Wasn’t there something about this guy on the message boards not too long ago?

So if the two teams got together you could probably solve both problems at once!
It has always been my understanding that the boards are meant as a means of discussion. That topics of geocaching could be put out here and people could talk about their thoughts and feelings freely. So I don’t understand why so many people get so dang upset when someone has a different opinion than that of their own. It seems to me that if there is a question, it should be allowed to be asked without worrying about whose toes will get stepped on in the process of acquiring the answer.
I personally find it quite humorous to get on here and post some smart “donkey” reply to many posts just because I can tell that one or more people are already ticked off. I’ve been told that I’m bad, and that I love to fuel the fire…I suppose this is true, but if things weren’t taken so personally than I wouldn’t have the opportunity to do any fueling. Besides…wzbt03’s been quiet lately…someone has to pick up where he left off. Jeff, where are you? Help me out here!

Hmmmm, very interesting
It does violate the permanant cache guidelines however.
Okay…so stop and think about this for a minute…aren’t ALL events only temporary caches? So if you can approve a temporary event why not the hides involved?
I do like Bec’s idea about dropping a cache in place of the temps. That’s kind of what Team Badger does now…when the team has an outing we drop a permanent cache in the area to commemorate our having been there.

Magellan’s Mapsend software is very limited in function…
Okay, I agree that it is a personal choice as to which whether Magellan or Garmin make a better GPSR…one’s own experiences are all we can go by. However, I disagree that Mapsend is not good software! I love my mapsend program and have never had a question about its functionality. (Again w/ the personal choice, ‘eh?)
