Great stories!! So is that reporter now calling you and asking for advice on what GPS to buy?? I wonder if she’ll try geocaching out….
Thanks for all you do for that page. It is much appreciated!
Ooohh!!! I found one area where I’m not in a techno-void!!! We actually have cable modem connection. I can’t imagine EVER going back to dial up! (And to think I remember the days when a 28,8 modem was soooooo fast!!! LOLOL!!!)
But I don’t have a laptop….
Maybe I can ask for a Palm Pilot for my birthday.
So if I don’t have a PDA, would these “Pocket Queries” do anything for me? (I’m obviously not the *techno-geek* in the family, lol.)
Maybe she’d like to go out and get bitten by the geocaching bug one day??? (Quick get her hooked before all the real biting bugs come out, lol!!)
The article she saw was probably Natloh’s interview before the geocaching clinic. I never saw the article. Maybe I can find a copy of it sometime.
Well, depending on how your allergy to the bug spray is, if you apply it to your clothing and not your skin, it will still work.
I’ve heard of some people using dog flea and tick collars around their ankles. I suppose that would be one that would fall in the *outside of the clothing* catergory as well. I can’t vouch for it myself….
I’m looking forward to hearing others’ ideas too!!

Hmmm…. Was that one of their predictions for 2004???
Love the new profile photo!
Woo Hoo!!! Way to go!!! Can’t wait to hear all about your adventures when you get back!

Congrats to you Jeff!!!
I don’t have to start dragging my Peterson Field Guide around, I’ll just start dragging Bec around!
I was able to do some research and found out that what I saw were sandhill cranes and not whooping cranes. (Found some sound files online of the “song”??? they make and definitely sandhills.) Still very cool. I’ve never seen or heard them before!
The ones I saw on the side of the road were ornery looking too like the ones Bec described! I was worried they were gonna come peck me!!! LOL! I wonder if they’re mean and aggressive….
Congrats on #400!!!
Keep up the rate Trudy and The Beast have figured for you and you’ll hit that 1000 mark approximately 9 months from now is all!!!! (I’m tired just thinking about that!)

Way to go Jeff!!!!!! That is one *HUGE* accomplishment!!!
Good luck on your search!!!
Getting my hubby and son off their behinds and out wandering in the woods!!! That’s been great!
And sharing many things of nature with Little Fishcacher. Such as all the cool stuff we learned and saw up at the “Mackenzie’s Charm” cache. And all the animal tracks we’ve found on many caches.
This will be our first spring caching and I can’t wait until some of the woodland flowers start blooming and I can show those to him! I’m probably more excited about it than he will be though, lololol.
