I really like Cachemate compared to Mobipocket, which was painfully slow. . . .
I use Cachemate too and I really like it.

What a neat question. I’m really enjoying reading everyone’s responses.
“To bring me to places that I never would have went on my own and that I will never forget.”
You said it perfectly. That’s exactly why I cache as well.

Heights. I don’t like heights.

And you should hear them singing that Irish Spring song….

Ok. You’re freakin’ me out now.

I knew it! I just knew you people were out digging up the public parks! First, Law and Order, and now Amazon.com. It must be true! I saw it on TV and the internet!
LOL!!
I did email them back letting them know of their “common misconception”. In 3 very short paragraphs, I wrote, “Geocaches are NOT BURIED” 3 times. LOL.

How about “American Robin”?
I like the coin with the robin and the violets on it.
Here’s another suggestion if you want more – how about a pine cone?

Greetings right back at ya also from Sun Prairie! (I live by Northside Elementary) I’m Mel, aka Mama Fishcacher, and I’m pretty much *the* cacher in the family. I can persuade dh and/or ds to come along on occasion though.
When do you expect your GPS to arrive? Maybe you could go swipe your dad’s again, lol.
It really is an addicting sport. I don’t go out so much at this time of year because of the heat and bugs and plants, lol. I tend to get back into it more when the kiddo goes back to school – On a day off, I’ll drop him off at school in the morning and then head out for a day of caching.
Once your GPS arrives, you won’t have to travel very far to find a bunch of caches! We have a good handful right here within the city limits!

I just *had* to try the link now…. Here’s the message I get:
“The server understood the request, but is refusing to fulfill it. Authorization will not help and the request SHOULD NOT be repeated.”
LOL. Sounds serious.

Amy and I have attended one WGA event. It was incredibly well run and the temp cache hides were better than the majority of the “regular” ones we have found out in the wild. Our humble opinion is that each temp cache should be worth a log (find) entry. If geocaching.com decides to eliminate that option, then so be it. It wouldn’t be the first time we disagreed with “corporate headquarters.” We still disagree with G.COM about their stance on virtual caches. As the woods get inundated with soaked Tupperware containers, we would love to see more “environmentally-friendly” virtual caches allowed – especially in the urban areas.
The WGA should do what they want to do. Amy and I haven’t really been in this for the numbers anyway. We could care less. It’s more for the hobby. However, we know folks that really get into the number of logs and want each cache to be an entry. They deserve the right to do so…
Just our two cents worth. Best to everyone!

Hi Jeff and Amy! I was just thinking about the two of you the other day and how I hadn’t seen you on here in quite awhile. It’s good to see you.

LOL! At least you found out it must be ok to drive a car on the ATV trails….
pcfrog,
How in the world do you do that? “That” being, how do you draw those coins? Do you freehand that?
It’s pretty darn cool.
