When: 23 January
Where: Waushara County
Leave Appleton area 8AM. Return around dark.
Bookmark will be up soon.
I also, finally, have a solve on Sagasu’s 4S.
So far, looking good. Bound to improve with age – everything else does!
…pencils to hand out as WGA PR stuff???
Congratulations!
Ha! The ‘last’ time we got stopped by a policeman Keith spent twenty minutes talking to him. We threatened to drive off without him, before he would stop talking!
Congratulations! 30% puzzels is impressive!
Congratulations!
Even though I did not make the hike – been there before – I enjoyed the meet and greet in the parking lot!
Thanks, J & L.

Just read this thread for the first time.
Marc, I’m disappointed in you. The other thread was closed for a reason so you had to stir things up in a new thread. C’mon, you are better than that.
Helidood is new to caching in general. I think he got it when he requested the thread to be closed…but no, you had to be beating a dead horse.
I wanted to speak my two cents worth!
Oh, yeah, and for newbies? Marc is a rabble rouser, best to be ignored when pontificating. 🙄 Don’t rise to the bait.

….and PLEASE. Keep this one on topic! That applies to everyone!
The topic is the fact that most cachers will not do puzzles or multis.
To which it seems everyone agrees. So to quote someone….”What’s the point?”
Hmm. Are you stirring the pot, or asking a question? OK, I’ll go with the latter.
Hopefully I’ll get the info across to a couple of cachers, new or old, who may not have known or thought about this before.
Sounds like an ideal situation for the WGA to start passing out official pencils. (Ah, they have been ordered and received, correct?)
Justin and I manned a station at the Bubolz swamp thing this past fall. We just talked to people as they can up – intro to caching, gps types, what to do, web sites, etc. Had a nice handout as well, from Jeremy.

Who wants to car pool from Appleton?
