I saw one at the Gauntlet last weekend. I wonder who choose ‘green’ as a color.

    Welcome to a wonderful addiction!

Where are you located? That would help bring in some suggeestions.

Ok, I see how this cache is going to work. Do not have a problem with it.

Ok, I think we need to know which cache this is, so we can look at the page. Is it a puzzle?

DeeJay, give us the GC # ?

😕 I’m looking forward to getting this cache over with, just so all this chatter stops!

😥 I agree with what the Major says, but ………

DeeJay mentions the cache actually states the coords are not correct, on purpose!

From what I have read about this alderman, I do not believe I would be interesting in meeting him.

The cache is gone, and the owner has contacted both the post crescent and the parks deprtment. Will see what comes up next.

in reply to: Reading your cache logs #1763402

I do not see anything wrong with cut and paste logs. Think about it for a moment. If you go out and cache 30, 40, 50 in a day (over over several days), the odds are you are :

    1. Going to hit some boring, ho-hum caches.

    2. Forget which some of them are.

    3. Hit one or two that are so great they drive the others from memory.

    4. Run out of things to say.

I see alot of these type logs (cut and paste) and I do not mind. However, I will admit I would like something interesting to read. And they do show up.

But, this is not an English essay contest. The object is finding the cache.
So, one person will have something interesting to say, and most will not.

It makes you wonder why the cache owners are not paying attention?!

My suggestion about a Hall of Shame was to provide some embarassment and incentive to do something! I see some of the names are of current cachers, but alot are not. Well, maybe it would not work. Thanks TB.

in reply to: Long Disabled Cache Cleanup Policy #1763481

Should we perhaps consider having a Hall of Shame, or some such name, where the 5 or 10 caches disabled for the longest time are listed?

Posted on the WGA web site. Prominently.

…………ah. Just a minute. Let me see if any of mine qualify ……

in reply to: Geocoin thieves! #1763525

😕 Well, everyone knows they have a high collectibility value. so, if you put one out, what do you expect?

I own two. Activiated one, and put in out. So far, it’s still there. Involves a hike of about 1-2 miles rounad trip, and so the cache does not get much activitiy. Another coin or two that I picked up elsewhere I put in a puzzle cache.
