Can we see a list of caches and the votes they received? I know it was close, and I’m interested in how so….

in reply to: The option to delete and edit on the forums #1744483

    Edit – Yes
    Delete – Yes.

I have posted a number of threads, which I have gone back and deleted. Mainly, this has been when the thread had served it’s purpose. such as announcing a caching trip somewhere, and asking who is interested.

I am addicted to ‘cleaning up’, so when the trip is over, I see no reason to keep the thread.

There are probably other occasions as well where the thread can be deleted.

I would guess that the end result here is that no one will post to my threads if they feel I might delete them. Oh well, I guess I will have to reconsider ……..

BQ – I think it’s time your try CacheMate. It’s free, to load 10 caches and test it. Try it, you will like it!

Well, Zuma, Seth and I said you’d get an answer here!

Hopefully you do not have a CX!

    Still have the CD?

Good luck, as they say …………..

I always think of a deletion as added fun – plays with people’s memories, and makes them wonder if they really did read that!

Ok, I’ll let this one alone …….

WTG Pharmteam! Slow but sure is just as fun as fast and furious!

See you at the next 1,000 mark.

OK, I’ve had my laughs for the weekend.

But instead of ‘closing’ the thread, I would tend to delete it. It over, and done with, so why keep it around. There will be other threads to read in the future.

    MB?

Yes, I object to this thread being locked!!! Having way too much fun reading it.

Hmmmmm? Maybe that applies to Russell as well?

I do not think enough people read the guidelines before placing their caches. Therefore they have no idea about some of the restrictions.

Miata has a little utlility program that he runs and it causes the computer to refresh the cache page, over and over again. Makes it look like he is looking at the page that often.

I feel sorry for the guy – no friends, no life, etc – so I create these little topics to keep him occupied. And off the streets, where he might cause a major disturbance.

1st – tongue in cheek, or at least I thought so!
2nd – thought that was the asnwer you were looking for.

There’s no accounting for Russell. You either live with him or ignore him.
