Verbosaphobia – fear of words
2. Not finding the DQ
Well, dang, I forgot about that! Actually, I think its more wishful thinking. Still no phobias in sight ………..
It’s common sense …. to get someone else to stick his hand in!
What size latex glove do you take?
Well, I guess I will be the first.
Having mulled over this topic for some time, I can not think of a single personal phobia.
(Despite what Tami says about sticking one’s hand in a hole, uh uh! That’s not a phobia, that’s common sense! I will not do it.)
I do not bother with bugs nor coins, so none of this disappearing stuff bothers me, one way or another.
Understanding that some cachers enjoy putting out and moving bugs around, I wonder how long before they quit in frustration over it all?
Well, at least ‘they’ – who ever they be – do not take caches as frequently as bugs and coins. If they did, caching would die a very quick death!
triskadekaphobia –
Had started typing my comment before realizing I did not know how to spell it, so ……
I have been surprised that no one has claimed a lack of phobias. Or at least ones that generally would not interfere with caching, such as a fear of the number 13 (Hmmm… maybe a cahce by that name!) or a fear of …. well, whatever.
In all seriousness, how many of these caches are there in this state? The only one I know of is Quilt Crazy in Green Bay. And I’ve cached heavily down and into the West Bend area, and not found any.
(Actually, this is a subtle way of finding out where they are, and I plan to hurry up and hunt them down before they disappeare!)
I’ve heard ‘awesome’ mentioned in the parking lot of Wally World!
Ah, Professor? Maybe I should also sit in on that lecture!
Light pole, as in Walmart caches?
Ya, Tami, a lot of us have noticed!
Get a Garmin, or ……
4. 16 more will join the Wisconsin Millinium Club, bringing the total to 30.
5. 40 will make the 500 cache mark bringing the total achieving this mark to 70.Both of these goals should be met with ease.
6. 275 will join the 225 that are now above the 100 cache mark.
Anyone else watching the numbers? This goal will probably fail, and I think it is because of a general sluggish on the part of new cachers getting started.
They usually have a good spurt, then sputter, then plop! I would guess perhaps 1 in 100 really get into the game, and pass beyond 100 and keep going.
Ron, sorry, I might have mislead you. I was not considering caches, but this discussion.
However, on the matter of cache pages, I do also have some doubts. My first thought is that do we really need to remind cachers to behave properly in public?
Or will the ones it is intended for not read them?
I’m a real pessimist when it comes to people.
