I know that this is in the book but it is on private property so GC would not allow it. ____ In A Tree
Hmmm. See it belongs to Rogheff.
Actually, if you get permission , a cache can be on private property.
In a very old thread somewhere, a comment was made that perhaps 80% of all geocaches (GC) out there probably should have permission. Maybe 10% do.

on their log and deleting anything else by saying I don’t care how much fun you had, how long you searched, that you didn’t like the cache, if you left anything, took anything, whatever. (and no punctuation, emoticons, etc)
How can I word this so it doesn’t appear as an ALR? 😀

big pink flamingo, hwy 41 south of appleton near hwy 76 exit. west side of hwy. no cache.
Look at my road side art photo album
Seems like most of us have K on our minds……

I would be mighty surprised if a cache owner with a now “suggested” ALR does not still get at least a few people to perform the voluntary request.
I am still getting photos with my Cemetery Quests, and I’m sure they will continue.
Thirty seven percent not looking at them?
Anyone change since then?
Any reasons why?
Looking for a bookmark that’s not there?
Something else?
Congratulations, guys! #1000 is just down the road!
Me thinks the dead horse has been beaten enough ….

I see that Marc has made some recommendations. I’ll make some more. Although in Trekkin’s mind, the best place to eat is anywhere he has a “two-fer” coupon. 😡
Yup, he’s old enough to fit in at Old Country Buffet!

You’re probably right 😯
Oh, my ………!

Well Marc, I’ve started listing a couple places. Have you shared any of your favorites? LOL
Are you serious? ????

The following is a list of all the challenge caches in Wisconsin that I am aware of. None of these require any modification:
GC15JH6 Crazy Retro Driver’s Wanted!
GC1P8AF WSQ 000 The quest ….Now see, even here this gets fuzzy. The “challenge” part of “Crazy Retro” is to find the puzzle caches. But the cache requires the log be formatted in a particular way. Is that an ALR?
Same goes for WSQ 000. Not only do you have to find 66 caches, but you gotta post in your log when you found them all.
No, I do not see these as ALRs. It’s just the way of saying “I have completed the other caches”. Probably a subtle difference ……
No, not computer science or anything like that.
Just luck sometimes.
Puzzles caches are really potluck. I might look at one several times, and not ‘see’ anything. Benny glances at it, and says right out what the solution is!
There are several procedures to follow or check on when encountering a new puzzle. I outline them in my Puzzle class info.
There are new ones coming up all the time……
Wow, I am surprised at this change. Quite a major one, based on how GroundSpeak usually does not like to make changes.
Now, what about my WSQ 900 series?
1. I will change the pages to ask each Team to try and find a photo of the appropriate item. Obviously, it will now have to be optional.
2. Change type of cache? To Traditional if anything. Means a lot of you will loose the Mystery icon on so many finds. Perhaps it is not required.
Heading to Escanaba …. will have something to talk about on the ride.
