This is the year of ‘change’. So …….
I like it. The brown threw me for a moment. wondered what it was to represent. Finally figured it out – the cows pies lying all over the fields!

End of the Earth is a nice snowshoe one too.
Yes, Gensler road is plowed and should be right up to the parking spot .6 miles from the cache. Mrs. TE was a Gensler for 10 years and her 3 kids are Gensler’s as are 90% of the people that live on that road. Should not have any trouble.
Mrs. TESounds like you are saying this is ‘dueling banjo’ territory, but you can ‘guide’ us to safety! 😆
I have not been able to get it to work ……….
Thanks to OPS for a very interesting snowshoe caching moment!
Glad to hear the clerks admitting to not knowing!
I would recommend you stick to Garmin or Magellen. That way you are bound to have a unit someone else has and can give help with.
Some of these newer off brands might be okay, but…..
Make sure you can download waypoints to the model, and that it comes with a computer cable.
OK, here’s how you answer your own questions:
1. Log onto GC
2. Goto ‘my account’ page
3. Click on ‘newest in Wisconsin’ on right side, below stat bar.
4. Start paging thru til you find the first of the year for whichever year you want. Then get lots of fingers together, and start the math process………… quite a few.
……….quite a bit.
Well, it’s there. What function it serves, I’m not sure. Never used it. Tried it, nothing happens.
The appleton group – myself, k0rpl, benny7210 and lone gunman – will leave here at 7AM.
What? Where? etc …….
For a minute there I thought it was going to be a Trudy and the Beast review!
Well, Ray, want to predict anything for 2009?
My 2008 was a good year.
I went over 500 in both puzzles and multis. Took a fair number of Tours around the state to achieve those numbers.
Overall, went over 6000, but who’s counting?
My birthday is next week, and being invited to a birthday party on Sunday, I discovered I had been the wrong age all of 2008! Well, it really doesn’t matter.
MWGB is on the agenda for 2009. It will be in Ohio this year, and far enough east of Kendalville to open up new areas for caching.
I’m sure there will be some other odds and ends in trips. They usually are fairly serendipitous, and are planned only a few days in advance.
One however, will probably be to Escanaba. Team B Squared has thrown down the gauntlet, and challenged me to ‘their’ puzzle cluster. So, I’m been working on them……..
Permission to do maintenance on any of mine.
I think it’s a good …. routine. It catches caches which are missing, or have other problems, which are not reported in logs. That is, there are no logs about what ever the problem is. Still need to find a way to encourage cachers to log DNFs.
Congratulations …… to someone who never thought to reach 1000!
Excellent caches for the topics covered. Good summaries of the info needed, how to solve, etc.
The Final Exam (as posted) is interesting ………
I saw the same one out East somewhere …..
