well lets see what kind of cache can we put out there T&B will have a real hard time with and may even not be able to do

How about a puzzle cache ….. with no cache at the end?
When they indicate a DNF or a MIA, you go out to ‘verify’ the cache, and you log a note saying everything as it should be.

So, does that mean that geochecker allows you to put in coord after coord until you get it right? That doesn’t sound right to me.
And what if you are working on several puzzles? Geochecker does not care which puzzles you are verifying. Evince does, and will lock you out of all puzzles after one attempt, until the time limit is up.
And do you really care if someone sits at his computer and plugs in set after set of coords looking for verification? I don’t.
No, I guess I don’t. But I also would not like it much if cachers were using geochecker to solve my puzzles that I spent so much time on. I’m not even sure if this is possible, in fact, it’s what I was asking.
To solve a puzzle this way would take a lot of key punching. Very unlikely someone would try it.
If you are missing only a few numbers though, well, then ……
Congratulations to two great Teams!
When I passed the 4000 mark (December 2006) there were only 95 some caches within my 50 miles radius.
I now have nearly 7800 caches, but the 50 mile radius stands at 422, and is climbing every day.
My goals are: Puzzles , WSQs, Multis.
I do not have any extra shows to throw at people!!!
It’s nice to see someone else is organizing a ‘Tour’, and for puzzles at that! In the Fox Valley! Now I’m happy.
Call me if you have any questions!

Just don’t get a bus load of people to go look for puzzles! 😯
The bus is to bring them to the restaurant where everyone gets to swap solution for solution! Thanks for the idea Hemi!
🙄 8) 😆
GMO: I usually send e-mail to local area cachers. I have never asked anyone from the area I’m planning to cache in.
But that would be a good idea. Like the next time I pick Wausau, I would not mind having you along. Then, we could do PAF w/o needing a phone!!!

Like Cheezehead, we make trips to the dollar store to put out quality caches …
Wait a minute ….. isn’t that a contradiction in terms?
🙄 😆 😯 😕
What the heck is that suppose to mean?? You can get a lot of quality items at the dollar store. Just what do you put in your caches for swag?
Hmmm. Do not know if I should admit to this … stuff I get out of my old caches that are archived.
You have to be careful on how you present an ‘event’ at GC.COM.
An event for the purpose of going caching is not acceptable.
So I guess this event would get listed on the WGA only, but that should not be a major problem.
Hmmmmm. This sounds like my ‘Tours”. I usually send around a bunch of e-mails to solicit interest in a particular day and area to go caching.
A bus ….. ? I have found over the years that one vehicle (3-5 people) is enough. Two or more cars with some 8-12 people are too many. Someone is always in the back of the line, while the front finds the cache.
Just some thoughts …….

Congratulations!
Geochecker had a slow problem for a while, but has since added a lot of power, so it’s fast.
And now you know why, when you come across a web page which is even partially interesting, you BOOKMARK it!
1. I’m not into the sway game, so I micro is fine with me.
2. I’m not into the TB game …………
3. I think a majority of cachers are satisfied with micros.
4. Many of my hides are in areas where a larger container would not work. Although I have a number of ammo cans out there.
