    OK, let’s talk about flooding!

Team Hemisphere Dancer’s Cultural Infidel cache is located in the Killsnake Wildlife area, north of Hwy 151, just a little east of Chilton.

Stopped by the other day, and the flooding is quite spectacular! The Killsnake, usually only about 20 feet wide, had overflowed it banks to the tune of some 2 miles or more.

The land here is quite low, and so the flooding is wide spread. Driving down the road was quite weird, with water right up the roadway on all sides.

    Gesundheit!

There is nothing wrong with copying a puzzle idea from one area to another.

Many of the best you find here in Wisconsin, you will also find in other states.

Well, I guess it will be a while before someone logs my A Carol for Papr Dolls as memorable.

Unless someone has already signed the cache log but not logged it online in order to encourage more finders…BUWAHAHAHA!!!!

Well, no news reports of a person being swept down river in the current, so I guess not!

Well, damn, it’s snowing over here now!!

Sounds like a copy cat at work…….

    Pay attention all you Northwooders!

(I have stared at a Green Bay cache for months, before realizing it is a copy cat of one I did down in Illinois! Duh!!!)

you are either brave or totally nuts

I vote for totally nuts. 😆

Well, we all know s|s is nuts, but the rest of us ….?

I had made it to the Sliver twice in summer. Fairly easy, and the river is not too wide. Problem is, I could not find the damn ammo box!

in reply to: Bookmark Lists #1885610

Ran into a problem recently. Although it is not listed anywhere, there is a limit on the number of Bookmarks an individual can create.

There is some info on the national forums. One person said 20 was the limit. At that time I was at 22, but unable to create any more.

I had a number of lists for cemetery caches in different states, and on puzzle caches. With the number restricted I may delete some of these.

Well, I guess it will be a while before someone logs my A Carol for Papr Dolls as memorable.

There was a Puzzle Tour planned for this Saturday, to have a mass FTF on it. The high water proves to be a major challenge, and hazard. So it will have to wait.

Otherwise, once this is done, it will be interesting to see who…….

There are enough GC caches to last me the rest of my life. Why would I want to go on another site. This seems to be developing into another log temps or not spat. Let’s keep the WGA about GEOCACHING.

    Ditto!

I would like to request that a link to http://terracaching.com and a link to http://navicache.com be placed on the WGA homepage.

I second the request. We have links to every other geocaching site. It give new members a CHOICE to visit other venues.

OK Marc, here is a subject true and dear to you.

I request that the WGA outlaw Puzzle caches!!!!
(This request is in jest of course but I’m sure you feel just as strong about puzzle caches and Rogheff does the other sites. And yes, I have 1 Terracache placement and 3 Location-less Terracaches.)

    1. I consider those other sites as worthless.

    2. The WGA only has authority to do certain things.

    3. I really do not care.

    4. Well, just because!

    5. Stop logging, and go out and cache!

in reply to: Full Log books ??? #1887512

I do not keep any of the old paper logs. (What’s the on line logs for?)

I throw all the full, wet, etc logs ways. Anyone finding such in any of my caches is free to do the same.

Do not turn your back on him! When you look back, he’ll be 16, and wanting to take the car somewhere………..
