Working as a team you always have to remember one thing there is no “I” in team. I have been employed at the same job for almost 21 years that for a large amount of time you have to work as a team. Sometimes the ideas are not the same but the goal is the same get the job done to the best of your abilities. I am sure that every bodies ideas won’t be the same but as a team you have to think what is the best for the WGA and the members. If we can all agree on the item at hand great but if not we will discuss and all come out with a winning idea that everyone will be happy with. I always been a team player and always will be there to assist the team best I an. Thank you for the question.

Thank you for the question. I personally love events. It’s a great way to meet new cachers and make new friends or get acquainted with old friends. Not only do I like attending I also love hosting events I have hosted numerous events in the past couple years. I almost get more enjoyment of seeing who comes and meeting who comes than going out at the events and finding caches. The caches will be there another day the event last a day or 2. I would not try to change the events to meet my needs but possibly try to think of more ideas to try at the events.

I am in Kendall south central of the state and logistics of the event at times have hampered us from attending.  As for future events possibly look at some areas where events have not been been recently. We have to keep it mixed up some while keeping a eye on pavilion space room for caches and what the area has to offer us as cachers and future cachers. We should look into areas where cacher numbers are down and try to get a event there and get the word out to get a 101 going in the town and/or even the school district. Another idea the BOD could pick a handful of places they wish to host a event and maybe have the members vote on the spot that they would like. At some point we have to visit all areas of the state.

Very good question and thank you you for your questions. The answer I want to say is not enough but the ones I have attended has been a blast. Meeting new cachers trading TB’s finding new caches in new places I have never been to is priceless. My first event was the WGA picnic in 2011 our first year of caching and also attended the picnic in 2012. In 2013 we attended the campout which we also attended the cito. We have attended the 2013,2014, and also 2015 Cache bash. I don’t have a favorite but they all are awesome to go to for there reasons. Look forward to more and possibly planning some. Thank you

Of the questions that have been posted I think this is the hardest to answer. On all the question so fa I have not looked at the responses from the other candidates. I appreciate being nominated and thank everyone. So onto the question “What makes me the best candidate.”  I personally will never say I am the best at anything but will do my best to do the best job I can. I have held many sucessful events and will bring that to the BOD.  I am sure the other candidates will do an awesome job if elected. If I am elected I will bring ideas into the group I will work my butt off to promote the WGA to help make it grow. Lets try to get more public knowledge of who we are and what we do. People today still say what do you do? Lets get some more 101’s out there lets try to get some booths and public events. We want the WGA to be the best geocaching group out there. I am sure that each and everyone that is  nominated and whatever 4 of us is elected will do that. Hope to get your vote. Thank you

15 years wow what a great feat. There are many things that we could do or get. We could get a special pathtag/coins made. We can roll back the clock with merchandise for example reproduce the shirts like they were 15 years. Maybe 15 special new caches with special items at the end of them. How about a power point show showing the progression of the WGA over the years. Has any member been part of the WGA all 15 years? How about a time capsule to be opened up in 15 years? The possibilities are endless.

As I just got nominated and try to go through the posts and try to catch up to the party I’m not good at putting my thoughts to words on paper or now the screen I like letting actions speak. I will try my best to answer this question.. My mission statement as a BOD member would be.

“Lets not try to redirect the train we have going but keep it going down the the tracks and make it even better than what it already is.”

Not hear to rebuild just keep it going for future generations.
