Congratulations on a big milestone!
Keep on having fun.
Any idea which cache was the first hidden in an ammo can? peanut butter jar??
How about the FIRST cacher to get wet retrieving a cache??? I know I have but I am not the FIRST. 😆
Here are 2 in Northern Maine
Fundy Tidal Seiche GC1WM0F (note: this is a 5/5 cache) FTF is still possible!
Fundy Tides GC15114 (This is a 3.5- 3.5)
This last cache is surrounded by at least 10 other Earth Caches within a short distance.
Further south in Maine near Bar Harbor:
Blue Hill Tidal Falls GC17X1E
Here is a link to tidal charts if that will help you.
Congratulations!
Keep on having fun.
as an aside: We have a Great Dane Pub here in Wausau now too! It opened in May.
There is a really neat one near Maine and I think there is a cache associated with it. I don’t recall the name offhand. Alaska also has many, but it isn’t safe to walk out there as the mudflats are dangerous to walk on.

Speaking of the upcoming Packers’ season, I will need predictions on # of td passes by Rodgers, reception yards by Jennings(?)(last year was Driver), and rushing yards by Ryan Grant. Predictions must be finalized by the last day of training camp. We know Rogers will be starting, and Jennings and Grant will most likely be the features at their positions.
I’ll start off by being a bit bold and going with:
32 TDs for Rodgers,
1800 receiving yards for Jenings,
and 1300 rushing yards for Grant. Subject to change of course.Rodgers: 34 TD’s
Jennings: 1587 yards
Grant: 1077 yards@Team Black-Cat wrote:
I don’t have any information on caches archived before I started in July, 2007, and I’m sure a lot of “firsts” have been archinved. I can make a guess at some…
Look Up at Rib Mountain (GCY2QJ) is a first, but I don’t want to give it away.
That is a FIRST. Good one, TBC
Congratulations!
Keep on having fun! Just like you had at “Chuckwagon!”

Is this also the FIRST Archived cache in the area? That was a good idea.
Congratulations!
Keep on having fun. Was it a singing cache??? 🙂
Congratulations!
Glad to see you had a lot of fun this weekend.

What the…….KAZOO GIRL has a dog and a wolf. I got some shots in but was done in a heartbeat. A level 15 to boot. I just got bumped up to level nine.
She usually wins 9 out of 10 matches! Tough kid!

What are you a 12 now. I am just an 8, I will win one every sixth time.
I was wrong you are a 14.
See what happens when I go and fight mad. You hit me once with the axe thingy and knocked me out with 105 damage with one swing and I was dead. I may have to fight amongst my rank to build up and then take you on.
If you want a real challenge…take on my new fighter, “KAZOO GIRL”
She’s tough!

So you cache owners out there who had caches with ALRs, what have you done–and why?
Archived your caches?
Found other ways to incorporate challenging/extra elements into your caches?
Just changed “requirement” to “request” and lived with the inevitable?
Other?????
My daughter, “Cutie Pi” had a cache that had an ALR which wasn’t monitored entirely. It will remain a request. I also put out a new cache that has a “requested” ALR. If cachers choose to do the “extra” task I will allow an extra smiley. So far three or four people have done the extra task but only one has taken the extra smiley. It’s all for fun.
