Tribute: to old silver is a cache that requires you to have at least a 1000 finds. I have only 104 left to find
Have a GC# or link?
Ever try it with a wherigo app?
I am thinking about purchasing a toughcase unit and have a couple of questions.
How is the unit handling now? Is it durable and reliable still?
What version do you have? Model #?
Would you still recommend it for geocaching and turn by turn directional navigation?
Thanks!
The smurf series is done by lobsters9494. He has some very fun caches in the area (around Newburg, Saukville, and Port Washington.) I suggest this one, which is nominated for cache of the month for the region. It is http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=9fde334d-4b49-4860-927d-a2c2dfbb99f8
Any in this preserve or across the street by Tendik County park are fun too. Although beware of the disc golfers!!
I did buy an add-on product for track maps though.
What is the name of your add-on?
We also pair it up with a gadget by Magellan called a Toughcase.
How close does a Toughcase get you? Does it charge up like an idevice?
I use a Etrex Vista HCx and use my ipod touch as the paperless part of it. I have the geocaching app but I prefer iGeoknife which works great.Where would one find Permethrin to treat clothing?
Ok so I got another one for ya…The geocaching.com feature in GSAK is awesome! But lets say you download 500 caches this way. I have an ipod and use the app iGeoKnife, which is my paperless tool. How do I make those “500” caches either into a PQ or export them into my ipod.
Sweet…
So I made the 5$ upgrade to v8. This is sooo much better now. The only thing I am wondering is if you can narrow your search field by fav points also??? I know I am asking a lot.hehe
I have been using GSAK for 5 years and I havent mastered it yet. Where is the geocaching.com access selection???
I guess I could make a bookmark too…although that would be a chore..Things we do for adventure!
Thanks!!
