My favorite case was hunting “Hissy Fit” in the Pewaukee area. As we were heading for the final, we noticed some 10 year old boys sitting in a tree maybe 30 feet off the ground. We waved to them, and continued on. As we got to ground zero, they yelled at us, asking if we were “looking for that thing”. “Why yes”, we replied, “did you take it?” They both jumped out of their perch and ran down to us. One looked kind of sheepish and said “Not exactly….we buried it!” So we had them dig it up for us. After logging in, we told them not to bury it again, but if they saw anyone else looking for it, they should chase them away waving their toy tomahawks. I was really looking forward to some interesting logs, but the owner moved the final, thwarting our evil plans. Booo!
Ha ha. Reminds of one we found in St. Nazianz. GC1XP7Y It seems two kids know where it is and like to heckle people looking for it.
DawnCould have been worse… Could have been a skunk. 😆
Garmin has wonderful customer service. Electronic compass is nice, but…..keep in mind that you have to be moving for the compass to work.
DawnI can not believe how low some people will stoop. There is NO excuse for vandalizing ANY cemetery. It’s a matter of respect. I hope the dearly departed that have had their urns stolen follow the thieves home and haunt them until they take them back. 😆 Some peoples kids.
DawnDang it! I would love to be someones buddy. Husband I are familiar with the area, but we have the “Midwest Vintage Trailer ” rally that weekend. Seeing as how my trailer made the front page this year I’m obligated to attend. We will enjoy the following weekend trying for the caches from the ba$h.
DawnThere are three caches on Dundee Mountain in Long Lake State Park. GCPWA3 Hilltop hike is a ammo can on the very top. I also believe that an earthcache is also listed. Another one is on the way down. Those are the only ones listed on Geocaching.com that I am aware of.

Off the top of Frontierman’s head he said they run at 13#’s of pressure. Maybe call a RV dealer to find out if they make any that run at different pressures.
DawnUpdated exploder to 8, and it seems to have fixed the problem.
DawnSon of a gun… I thought I was the only one with this problem. Happens on my work computer and my laptop at home. Both are running Vista and Windows exploder 7. I haven’t heard anything good about Exploder 8 or I would have upgraded to it. Started happening when Groundspeak did the last update. 😥
DawnI use the free WI Topo maps in my Garmin 60CSx. And they work good for me.
DawnWent today and checked the 6 caches we adopted from gotta run. All of them were in good shape and good to go!
We were sad to hear that someone did that to your caches. Got a couple of them last fall. We plan on camping in spring to get the rest of them.

We avoided puzzle caches like the plague for the first couple of months that we cached. A new cache appeared 4 miles away last summer and we finally logged it Sunday. That cache had us so frustrated that my husband wanted to avoid any and all of them. After we logged our dnf, we e-mailed the CO with a question about solving it. Even after he gave us a hint it took a while to get the first waypoint. Sunday we refused to leave until we had our signature in the logbook! I would have gladly joined a puzzle cache tour if it would’ve helped us figure it out sooner. Isn’t caching about getting outdoors and having fun with friends? Puzzle caches take ‘em or leave ‘em. I feel sorry for the poor horse, he not been beaten enough? 😆
