Are you beating the ‘dead horse’ again?

In a way… but no, it’s more of a union thing and I want a nice picture for my locker at work. 😆

Great 24/7 deer feeder web cam. I have seen as many as 3 bucks at one time. http://www.rd-hc.com/rdhc_deer_cam.htm

in reply to: Kenosh-Racine Tornado #1883210

I just drove one of my snow mobiles through just a little bit of the Mountain/Riverview tornado damage from this last Summer, and I have to say….I can’t believe the power that it must have packed.

I hope things work out for you! 😥

Too bad 100 of them are not on your 500 closest list….wait a minute, maybe they are. 😀

    in reply to: gswin32c.exe ??? #1882993

I did a Google search on “gswin32c.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close” and found that there is a connection to Photoshop. I have to wonder if your newer program was sharing a file or two with Photoshop and was removed during your uninstall.

Might try to reinstall the program that you like with the hopes that it will add the file(s) back again.

Hey, Miata! You read this one?

Yes I did! You my friend are a trouble maker. 😉

I will probably never rate a cache terrain a 1.0 or “almost wheel chair accessible” since the cache I made these mistakes on once had a member “severely sprain” an ankle.

A 100 yard walk on level ground with 50 yards of level boardwalk can be a huge challenge to those who don’t read the description and choose to access the cache from a long slog through a swamp. 😳

Oh well, Happy New Year to all! 😀

I enjoy Frank Caliendo’s impressions of John Madden a lot! I think some of the older ones are better than John Madden himself! 😀 He does love Brett Farve. 😆

There was a skit of his about Madden attending the Espy awards and stinking up the Lady’s room, and when I first heard it on the radio I fell for it and thought that Madden was drunk and dumping in the wrong bathroom!

    Good stuff! 😀

Thanks for the advice Jim. In my case my Computer Associates personal firewall was somehow preventing me from logging in! I shut it off and logged in with no problems. Firewall is back on with no problems at the moment. 😀

    Happy Holidays from Miata! 😆

Maybe I should finish my nightmarish puzzle as your closest to home. 😈 I know, I have threatened this for over a year now. 🙄

    That’s cheating…..:P But 100X easier than 85 degrees and 5 miles. 😉

It was called “Strange Bird”. My bad. I heard the story from Hemi. It made it into my pocket query before being “unsubmitted”. End of my mystery.

we have had a brief pow-wow and cannot come up with any caches of ours named “Pink Flamingo.”

There are a few (one?) that we have submitted, and then unsubmitted/canceled/archived before publication but none with this name. Maybe there is an impostor out there?

We have experienced the phenomena that is written about here, but only on newly published caches that perhaps, because of timing we were notified but the cache was not officially published.

in reply to: Lowrance Battery issue #1882068

    OK…one less option. 😆

On the Garmin’s I have, there is an option in the system settings somewhere that lets you change the type of battery being used in the unit, which I have to assume helps keep the battery meter a bit more accurate. My Garmin III has excellent results with rechargeable batteries, like all day long! Mine will run quite a while after the battery low warning comes up too.

Now it’s hard to say if your unit has such a setting, but it’s something to look for before talking to someone in India.

Unless Team Bear Bear chimes in on this one, we may never know about it since I got sick of seeing it and deleted it. If I recall right it was in someones yard and was rated somewhat difficult.

It wasn’t the one in Green Bay which I had found years ago. Oh well…. 😆
