190 to go now! We cleaned up a few more in West Bend on the 12th, but I didn’t have a real fresh .gpx packet with me on the laptop. I see that we must have drove past the musical frogs and didn’t know it was a cache. I guess you have to leave a few for seed!

He pretty much cleaned up the caches in West Bend/area with Marc on Tuesday. And he was first to find (Hidden) Diamond in the Rough, a 4 star difficulty cache. Lastly, he co-hosted a geocaching workshop/event for beginners today (May 7). Way to go and keep it up. Just think only 300 to go to reach 1000. Tami
I see he made it over the top! Way to go Jeff!
No stayovers yet for me. I have just driven for the day, although this year if I make it there will be a 7 hour round trip!

Thanks for the replies Opossum! Good luck in your venture.
A cool option I didn’t know about in GSAK! Thanks!
That’s cool Uncle_Fun. It’s nice that a cool headed note to them seemed to do the trick.
Didn’t take 24 hours for this thread to go hot now did it?
I would have loved this car before the Miata’s!
I didn’t think my observation would bring this much attention, but what the heck
I might even make a special trip down to find their first hide if it ever happens. I’m sure it would be something special and “The boys” would be pleased.

Welcome back Otter!
{Now I have the Welcome back Cotter song going off in my head!}
I have had a Garmin GPS II, III, V, and 12. The 12 was very good for me in the field, the II was destroyed by leaving mounted on the dash of my truck for a year (LCDS were toast). I currently use my III in the field and the V for auto routing in the vehicles.
I enjoy having the same cords and mounts for both units. If I had to drop big dollars on a new one, I am pretty sure it would be a Garmin 60C. I took a look at Gizfinders yesterday and it looks like the real deal. The color display and caches found type features are nice bling bling.
I had the misfortune of trying to figure out an Eagle brand GPS yesterday at the Geocache workshop in Neenah. I never did figure out under the gun how to make the system changes needed to use the pointer for guiding us to the caches! How embarassing! I was able to mark my position and change the coordinates to that of the cache, but the pointer was another thing.
I don’t know if it shows, but I prefer Garmin.

I sent my favorite from the 2003 WGA camp out at High Cliff State Park.
I didn’t know that you could simply push the “End” button. That would be a big help on the long long threads!
You will get to meet him Saturday at the Park and Rec event as he is one of the presenters.
