Did you try a Ctrl V instead of paste? I found one thing at work that worked the same way. Just a thought.

I have used a Garmin 12 before, and it uses the same round plug cable as my GPS III and GPS V. It does require a serial connection, which can be a problem on newer laptop computers.
Oh by the way, Welcome John!May 7th the Neenah Parks and Recreation Dept. is putting on a Geocaching workshop. I will be putting up an event page sometime in the near future for the workshop so that all temporary caches hidden can be logged.
Welcome!
I made a typo! It’s Saturday May 7th! Thanks go out to Tami of the EcoRangers for pointing out that my date was a Tuesday!

I led the way for a while but the anticipation of putting this cache behind us must have been too much for Marc to handle as he was leading the way when the ice got too thin. Matt was steps behind and decided to step to the right, which was deeper yet. It’s a good thing that Matt had a change of clothes!
The day was long but it seemed to go way too fast. Over all it was a very good day out!
One of the newer versions also added a cache density to the HTML export files. I love having every cache in say a 70 mile radius indexed by cache density and distance from my home coordinates!
Well worth the $20 donation! I also love the way I can export the same 250 caches into a MapSource file and see them real time on my laptop loaded with MapSource.
I added it and love it! Type in your zipcode and get any cache in the area that you have not found yet. I never knew I already had an eBay search installed.
You da man Brew! Thanks!
I bought one shipped for $16.74. I should have got an external antenna for $19 more.
http://rnrplace.com/rnr_store/sale_cat.phpI bought a 100 watt converter from WalMart for $17. I figure that’s good enough for the laptop. I have a second power outlet on my dash that will work OK for the GPS combo cable. I think I will just pay the $16 or $17 shipped from eBay.
That be the same one, but he is one of the 2 big sellers of this cable on eBay. I imagine with shipping and insurance the price will be within pennys.
The next couple of days I am going to mess around with the lap top now that I have MapSource loaded with all of the caches I have not found in a 70 mile radius.
Where have you been hiding Kaili? It’s been quiet in the Valley this Winter.
It worked fine and opened EasyGPS since it was my default .GPX file program. I have both IE and Foxfire on my system with Foxfire as my default. Have not tried Thunderbird for e-mail yet though.
Never mind….I see it’s up and running today.
Way to go Nae!
One is too many.
