The best part about getting the trackable in the mail was the unmarked bubble-wrap envelope… and me thinking… what the heck is this?!

Nevermind, all! A room opened up at the same hotel and I was able to get it booked for Thursday night.

To those going up Thursday night… Does anyone have extra bed/floor/pull-out-couch space for one body? I tried to add Thursday night onto my stay at my hotel, and they are booked!

I’ll be going for sure. I have my hotel booked and I will be residing in Germantown at the Country Inn and Suites. I had a hard time finding a decent price on Hotwire in West Bend, so I ventured out a ways to get a good deal. I’m headed up on Friday and will leave after the pancake breakfast on Sunday.

I have been using my iPhone, too. I didn’t want to drop a huge chunk of change on a unit, so I went to the local Pawn Store and picked up a Garmin Dakota 20 for $45! I haven’t gotten the chance to use it yet, so I can’t give a review, but the person that owned it before me was also a cacher. I know this because they have all the 2013 Ca$h Bash caches are still loaded into it! I’ll let you know what I think about mine as I get the chance to use it.

Hm…. This might be a necessary trip. Since I’m the mom, I get to choose what I want to do for Mother’s Day, right? My 4-year-old would be in tow. She’s never been camping. Hopefully she likes sleeping on the ground!
