I agree with TheSquirrel, Squirrels are the better of the two.
It’s not possible to choose though, both have benefits and drawbacks. Cats are snobbish (love you Zoi and Loki, haha), while dogs just want your undivided attention. Cats are easier to clean up after where as you have to go outside and hunt the yard for piles. Then again you can take a puppy out for a walk, which I have done before with a cat I previously was owned by. Hm… never mind I can’t answer this question, I don’t like this essay question.
I will be honest my time involves a lot of school work and working on lessons and activities for my preschool classroom. The odd thing is, I rather enjoy doing those two activities that it doesn’t really feel like a ‘job’. I suppose that would be boring though if that’s all I did in my spare time, lucky for me it’s not.
I also enjoy thrift shopping, doing many DIY projects, painting, online gaming, portrait and wedding photography, and of course volunteering in the local elementary schools around Sheboygan County. Recently I have been attempting scrapbooking with a couple friends I have met through geocaching.
And every so often I take up the hobby of sleeping.
Trekkin and Birdin,
If the performance arts are something you truly enjoy you definitely should get back into them. If you’re unsure start out small and work your way back up. 🙂 Good luck on your adventures! If you were to get back into performing what would focus on?
Anyone should go for what they are passionate about, just stay safe about it. 🙂
Coming from the twenty something group and a bit younger, I find the forums can be a bit overwhelming. While conversations on Facebook can be a bit more manageable. This could be because the newer catchers are those that grew up with sites like Facebook and MySpace when forum use has become a lesser form of communication. Thinking more into how forum conversations can be overwhelming, they can also be intimidating for new cachers that have an idea but they don’t know if that idea will be welcomed with the older cachers. Coming from a time when everything you do and say is judged its hard to get rid of the mentality that it will happen here as well. Though I personally know it’s rare and most of the cachers within the association are very open and willing to help.
It also could do with many people now a days stay with a few sites because (this might be a lazy factor) keeping track of conversations on multiple sites can just be a pain in the butt.
Awesome idea! Keep up the great work EXMAN. :3
