Congratulations on 1K Ralph. Kinda like starting all over again with the numbers. With all the new cachers FTF’s have become more of a prize.
I’m having a hard time picturing the hopping patr of this in my head, but if Diane says so the congratulations.
If it wasn’t about the numbers no one would log finds. We would all just find them for fun and move on to the next one. No bragging with friends, no socializing; just a bunch of hermit geocachers.
P.S. our daughter’s family OPPS5 found #1000 today, not bragging – just stating a fact.
We were privelaged to meet Chanter at an event a few months ago and were impressed with her not only as a geocacher, but a very nice person besides. What a great accomplishment. We also met her great Mom and caching partner Cindy22 that day and got to share her 1000th find with her.
We were just talking about getting to this park sometime soon and now we’ll be going for sure. Looking forward to finally meeting Sandlanders.
Congratulations on a big number!

1) their status is “banned premium member”
2) they are currently still hiding new caches and logging findsSo much for being banned?

A soldier from Wisconsin was killed in Iraq and his funeral was yesterday.
Good thing they made it to the hospital or they would’ve had to name her “Wally”.
Congratulations! Now you can both get a back pack to carry these little cachers in. We hope to get to the Richland Center Event, bring pictures.
You would be better off keeping it as a backup. I bought a used one from another geocacher not long ago for $35.00. I doubt if you’ll get more than $50.00. You can buy the next up model etrex new at WalMart for $100.

Hey that was my puzzle 😀
Now I don’t know whether to go geocaching or fishing tomorrow.
Right or wrong the cache owner has the right to do what they want. I’m not a big fan of puzzles even though I have solved and found quite a few. I have about 20 solved and may or may not hunt them. I just solved a newly published one an hour away just for fun. I’ve hidden over 160 caches and for some of the problems brought forward I don’t create desk puzzles. Personally if I would have been the cache owner in this situation I would’ve allowed you to log the find once I had confirmed you had the correct coordinates. Having found this particular cache it was a very easy find compared to solving the puzzle.
Fishing and geocaching, it doesn’t get much better than that. Congratulations.
