Getting back to the original question; what do I think about lab caches?

Personally I think that it’s unfair of Groundspeak to be the one to choose the type of breed for these caches. I think there should have been a vote or a contest. I kinda like the name wiener dog cache or Corgi cache; that has a nice ring to it. Well I guess you know now where I stand on “lab” caches. Woof!
Cabela’s has the Map62 on sale right now for $170.
Puzzled by a puzzle. Pat, I tried your daisy puzzle. I can’t even get the border together. There are two lower right hand corner pieces. Is this some kind of trick?

I am not on facebook and hopefully never will be. I check in here for new posts about once a week or so just to see what’s going on. As you can see by the number of posts, I don’t generally post much unless I have something to offer.
Dave you don’t need a FB account. Tracy tells us everything about you that you don’t want us to know.
Still waiting for the puzzle of ZB’s snow fort.
Just saying hi before going over to FB. Just kidding. I do think the group of 25-50 regulars do post and respond on the topics here. It is rare for someone new though to get involved. That is evident by all of the attention that new “regular” Todsam received in the last week. I try to check in everywhere most days including WGA FB. I think it all comes down to doing whatever we all can to promote WGA membership and PARTICIPATION. I have a really good idea on how to promote this, but am waiting for the new BOD to be in place.

Unfortunately it seems like the popularity of Pathtags in Wisconsin has really declined.
The one nice thing about this cold weather is that it affords the time to catch up on indoor projects. We just finished scrapbooking our geocaching photos from 2011. 2012 is half done. Next week it looks like more cold weather so hopefully we will be up to date by then. The last 2 winters were so nice that we were outside more than inside. Tomorrow is go out to lunch day followed by about 20 caches.
just posting on the “hot” page of the day
We had some really cool handmade geocaching Christmas ornaments on our tree this year courtesy of the “potholder lady”.
Ruby, what big eyes you have!
I have to get a bigger screen!
Many of the “Friends” groups put out the newsletters and flyers in the State Parks with their funds. I have seen geocaching mentioned in some of those. I think the one at Point Beach even had the names and coordinates in the park newsletter. Not as a solution, but as an alternate it might pay to contact each of the friends groups and work with them too. Some don’t seem to want to spend the WGA’s money, but a small donation to a friends group would probably easily open a door to cooperation with them as they rely solely on donations.
