What? You mean the one I made you last year isn’t your favorite?! 😆
I’m so sorry, Becca I totally forgot about that one.

7 so far, hope to have about 10 more during trips that we planned for this winter
The December issue of the Wisconsin Natural Resources magazine has an article about a person who visited all 64 State Parks in 365 days.
Thanks Ed for the reminder to mention photos included. I post a lot of photos, but I’m lax in mentioning it in the log. As a cache owner I always open logs if it mentions photos. Except for your “puzzles only” practice I agree with your ideas. I have a hard time with solving puzzles so it’s best that I don’t try creating them. I’ll stick with field puzzles that are informative. We wouldn’t have 450+ hides right now if we didn’t enjoy reading logs and we too have learned to ignore the TFTC. Now here’s hoping we get some nice logs on our 20 new hides on the Bugline Trail. Even though most of them are .12 apart they are not gimmees.
I was impressed with T & B’s logs on these. They kept the theme going. I stalk certain cachers and that’s how I found these. Hoping to get these next spring.
We just started writing short logs in the log books again. Not as long as some of the ones we did when we started since the log books tend to be smaller now. We especially do this on older caches. We actually read the cache pages and logs more now that we both have Oregons.

But do they know your GC password so that they can adopt those caches themselves, or adopt them out? Or even archive them in a timely manner and post cache rescue missions for all of them?
They’re all smarter than me, I’m sure they’ll crack the code.
I have 5 grandkids who geocache. I’m glad I won’t be around to see them fight over my hides.
We don’t do many urban caches, but we really enjoyed the Milwaukee Geo-Tour. It takes you to some interesting places.
Great idea on the way to handle this situation Dave. Too far from us to help out. but a nice tribute to a popular hider.
Typically not a big caching weekend for us. Thursday is our grandson’s sixth birthday so that takes care of one day. We usually some type of holiday season event with our daughter’s family. We’ll take in a Christmas parade either in Watertown or West Bend. Somewhere in between all of that we will probably squeeze in a couple dozen finds somewhere.
Congrats Jim, great park and milestone choice.
You can get an Oregon for less than an Etrex30 and the Oregon is easier to learn on. We have both and only use the Etrex as a backup.
