Congratulations, it was nice to meet you at the event. Thanks for doing some of our hides last week along the way.
Why don’t you just archive them and open up the area to another hider. It looks like they are both in poor condition so who would want to adopt them.

August has always been my biggest month for finding caches. Partly due to Cache Bash, but also due to trying to cram as much in as possible before September.
How many days until ……… starts?
I found 4 today so that will carry me through Sunday, right?
Congratulations Don and Kat. Great choice for a milestone. We really enjoyed that series.
Nice job, congratulations!
Congratulations, but I think you two are having way too much fun. Can’t you look grumpy in a photo just once in a while?
I thought maybe they were getting a puppy
It looks like a map. Very colorful. Very strange though. Glad I’m not impatient.
Geocaching must be a covert activity in China. There are only 494 caches in China. The top cacher has only 1223 finds. Only 16 cachers with 200 or more finds. Hope you make it back Dave. Keep that gpsr hidden or they might think you are a spy.
We visited the TB cache that you had and hopefully helped a few on their way. That was a nice old stump it was hidden by.
Job well done, however I have to burst your bubble. Some cachers from Illinois were in WB on 6/8 and are at 167 and still logging. I would also bet that Bobcam and probably a few others have found over 200 in a day.
In regards to Deejays comment Garmin charges $75 to fix or replace the Etrex you have. You can buy an Etrex10 for $89 and have paperless caching.
Congratulations. A fun series to milestone on.
With over 350 active hides I can tell from the logs we receive that “it’s all about the numbers”. The pngs get found much more often. Our GC2VTK8 is 2 years old and has only been found 13 times in 2 years. It requires you to find a cache on the IAT in half of the counties that the trail passes through.
After 6000+ finds we are getting a little bored. Not with caching, but with the hides. Even though the bike trail caches are a little monotonous we really like them. The last three weekends were spent on bike trails. We are working on a couple of your challenges Gwyn. The classics one and the oddities. We hope to qualify for both by the end of the year. The funny thing is that I have no idea where the finals are hidden and haven’t even thought about going to get them. We’ll be camping at Governor Dodge at the end of this month and have looked at a couple of KFH challenges that we have a dent in. Our hiding philosophy has changed too. Since our pngs get found more than our nice hikes – no more pngs unless there is a specific purpose. We’ll be hiding more puzzles and more hikes. I have a bird themed one in my head that will be a must for you. Hope to hide it this fall on the IAT. -
