We pass through Appleton at least once a month and would try it. Always looking for an excuse to cache in an out of town area.
Cabela’s is opening in Green Bay next month.
Cabelas has the Garmin Etrex 10 on sale right now for $79.00. Direct download paperless caching.
It’s the GPS that I use.
Sunshine has an Oregon 450.When we werte at Cabela’s last week they had Garmin Oregon 400’s for $199.
Congrats Jim, have fun now that school is out.
Always great to read positive articles about geocaching. Nice job.

We got our coin yesterday; it is coin #88 out of (I think) 100.
They must not be sending them out in order. OldnWild got #43 yesterday. None of the caches have been found more than 50 some times so far. Sent our form in yesterday.
Sorry Kevin, the free admission day is on Sunday June 2 only. I just checked the DNR website. Free fishing both days and free bike trails on both days too.
Did all 15 today plus about another 10 with our granddaughter Emma. It took a little over 6 hours including a stop for burgers at Northpoint Cafe along the lake. The caches were nothing special. but they took us to places that we would never had visited otherwise. Got to see the kite festival and had a duck race among many other fun things and lots of great photo ops. Highly recommend the series and that says a lot since we are not fond of urban caching.
Congrats Pete!
Congratulations, but you would have 5000 if you didn’t spend so much time here.
If you take the course you don’t even have to get an “A” to pass. All you need is a “B”.
Congratulations! With all the new caches being placed on the bike trails by you 2000 is just around the corner.

Very Cool – But I just got 100 empty Film Canisters and 100 ( cross between a Bison/Nano ) canisters – I am good for awhile 🙂
Please give half of them to your grandmother. We haven’t found any of the new Watertown caches yet, but are looking forward to them. We had all of Watertown found until she started hiding. We go there every other month to buy coffee at Berre’s Brothers.
I use techblazer, I think that might be what Chris was referring to also.
