Only 2 sites still available as of tonight for the weekend of the picnic.
Congrats BigJim. Not everyone can find their milestone and eat it too.
Thanks to all of you for the congrats. We spent the weekend in Oconto and found 47 caches – 1 dnf thanks to Barry.
Rod (bartrod) helped us find lodging and places to eat. We even got to spend some time chatting with him Saturday night at Wayne’s after completing his YBR series.
We have known Rod for several years now and he is a really great guy. He is so nice that he went and checked on all 35 of his caches in the YBR series and several in town because he knew we were coming. His efforts and friendship made for a memorable weekend.I misread this at first and thought you won the pancake eating contest by downing 4000 of them. After thinking about it and realizing that it was an impossible feat I realized that you had reached a milestone cache so congrats on that. The pancakes were good though, weren’t they?
Congratulations and a great choice for a milestone. We used it for #4000.
Congratulations Liam, Luke and Noah. You three deserve a lot of the credit since without you August wouldn’t be able to be a stay at home dad (although you guys never seem to be home) and he would be working all day and his find total would only be 73.
Rod, I think you are making this all up just to try and discourage us from coming to spend the weekend in Oconto in 3 weeks.
This has happenned to us twice with ammo cans. One was near a heavily used hiking trail and I’m sure they discovered it by accident. They took the can and left all of the contents in a white plastic bag that they must have had with them. The other one also had the contents left behind. Sad to say that this well hidden cache was probably taken by another geocacher.

My goal is to be shot dead at the age of 87 by a jealous husband of a beautiful woman, while her and I share a hootie reward at a cache deep in the woods.
(Dont tell Robin.)

Now that’a Z-challenge!
Hartman Creek – Waupaca.
Very nice kid friendly park.
We were just there with our three grand kids, 15, 13 and 10.
Good fishing, canoes to rent.
Paved bike trail to beach.
Nice sand beach and good swimming.
Over 30 caches in the park.Congrats Steve and Donna.
Congrats Pete! If I hit a milestone can I have a puppy too?
Congrats to the Pirate gang for becoming landlubbers for a day to find this fun cache. The B/W photos reminded me of the Spy vs. Spy cartoons which fit right in with the theme of this cache.

Pike Lake is a State Forest and not a State Park. I believe it’s also not part of the Northern Southern Kettle Moraine, but independant of the Northern or Southern.
Also for anyone who might be interested in camping there that weekend their campsites are always full from Labor Day until the mid-October closing. It’s a very hard park to get into in fall. They only have 30 sites and 11 are already reserved for that weekend.
Still works for me. Maybe you need a vacation. Are you logged in? Coordinates and the other details disappear when you’re not logged in. Did I mention that maybe you need a vacation.
