wow…thanks for the kudos…
I wish that we would had been able to cache as much as T&B thought we had, but we checked back and it was only just over 50 since January…which we don’t think is too shabby considering what both of our schedules have been like, but we are ready to get out on the trails soon to find some more!!!
YEAH!!! Congrats Jeff on a great milestone! You are an inspiration to us all! We have enjoyed both caching with you as well as completing some of your caches…here’s to many many more!!!
Yippeee happy Birthday…now I have the perfect excuse to have that piece of cake…ahhhh
Happy Birthday WGA!!!!
I would like to say that I feel that it is up to the cache “placer” as to the criteria they set for their particular event. I know that at our last event I shared that if people wanted to log each of their Human geocaches as a log that they could…but certainly didn’t need to if it didn’t sit well with them. I know for this event in particular there was more of a search to find these “caches” than for some easy regular caches that are out there. I left it up to the cacher to decide what they would like to do.
I know that it is an understanding of many that you can log your own event as a cache, but any other temp caches would not be logged. I know that some don’t log their events at all…some do…
I think that is the beauty of caching…that there ae so many ideas out there and that new twists to our activity come every day it seems. I like the idea of being flexible.
IMHO if Jeremy Irish doesn’t care…I say then that the individual cacher makes peace with their own decisions—
happy caching-
Ms. WISearcherI agree with the above advice…
and would add that it is a great family activity…rather than zoning out in front of the TV families are able to spend some quality time outdoors! (just think of the environmental passion that we are modeling to our Jr. Geocachers for the love of the outdoors)
Ms. WISearcher
Way to go you two!!! Congrats to you two and Howie as well!!! Here’s to many more!!!
Yeah Cachew and Wicket!!! Congrats!!! Looking forward to congratulating you personally at the breakfast this weekend!
I would be happy to help in the cache placements (have never been to this particular state park before, however…and a bunch of people got stung at mine at the cookout… …but I would love to help anyway)
We can bring some soda and our coolers along as well…
let us know if there are any other things you need.
