I see it! The site looks great!

in reply to: The Gauntlet #1750717

Ahhhh…my nemesis…the Gauntlet…what to bring…Oh, don’t forget a change of clothes…I really needed it after our trip and I wasn’t the only one. Also, for those of you taking the high road DO NOT USE THE VINES as ropes…Commander Bob learned the hard way! If you are afraid of heights and decide to take the low road bring a walking stick for sure it will be well worth it to help to determine how deep parts are…waders will make your job much easier! Regardless of which way you decide to go bring a flashlight!!! (If you have headlamps they would be best as having free hands when you need the flashlights would be very helpful!) Lastly, and most importantly, bring a first aide kit and loads of water!!!

Have a blast…this is one that I will ALWAYS remember!!!

I understand Ms. WISearcher may or may not be able to attend the campout, but if you’re there, please bring your eTrex. What about the rest of you? Is your GPSr still available for us to borrow? I can return them via mail after 5/20.

We’ll bring it to the campout!
    See you there!

I know we have a yellow laying around (It is Brendan’s) that if you need us to send it to you we could. Let us know if there aren’t enough in your area and we can be a back up!

Not surprised…I do similar experiments in class…you would be amazed at what areas are the dirtiest…toilets and urinals are actually one of the cleanest places in the school!!! Scary!

in reply to: 2006 WGA Board election results #1738790

Congrats to the new BOD elected memebers!!! I have complete confidence that you will all represent the WGA well!

Hopefully those that weren’t elected (Very close race!!!) will consider running again!

Thanks ahead of time for all you will do!

    Badger…badger…badger….

Interesting that there is a coin out there nonetheless! I am sure I will have to get ONE!

I also thank Jeff for posting this!

I wanted to share my thanks to the WGA BOD and the membership. I also have decided not to run again for a board position and focus my energy on delivering a healthy baby boy and just being a mom that likes to go for hikes in the woods with my family looking for hidden “stuff.”

I will consider running again later, and thank those that have contacted me asking if I would run. Best of luck to the new board members!!! I will, however, continue to be the liaison to Madsion Parks department…I would hate to lose any ground that we have gained there!

    Happy (geo)caching-

We, too, must decline…for the same reason as “What’s Next?”, but would say this….We really made lifetime friendships and had an unforgetable weekend last year at Camp Uni…if you are available, take the drive!

Even if you are not on the board, you ARE the WGA, everyone that is a member here that is out there doing great things like you are, is out there representing the WGA…We are glad to have you.

Education is the key to our continued success. I, as a board member appreciate everyone that is out there making a good name for our membership. I say-if you don’t mind doing it, keep it up!!!

in reply to: Stoughton area geocoin Bermuda triangle? #1759596

With the recent tornado that ripped Stoughton apart I would be surprised if any coins or bugs are left at that bug hotel at all.

On a different note, I have noticed that coins and bugs tend to go missing…and since coins are being collected by some people (Most collectors will purchase their own)…there are people that decide to take coins that don’t belong to them to keep. That is an unfortunate truth.

His cameraman had done a few caches so he said that was how he found out about it….and yes, John and I shared the info about the upcoming picnic with him. It would be cool to have him show up!
