Yes, Tie shared with you the Dane County info…and they have been rather pleasant to work with. We have not heard back from Madison…it has been on my list to double check with a Madison city contact for some time now, but just haven’t. I know that Grousetales emailed them a long time ago and has not heard back from them…so as of right now there is no caching in City of Madison parks, but hopfully in the future there will be.
ok, I can’t even believe you went there…
…admins…can you kick him off the message board? Oh wait…I am an admin…
You see, I have this question about a tree falling in the woods…and trying to figure out if it does in fact make a noise…where would the appropriate forum be for that? I don’t want to fill this thread with useless background information, so I thought I would just say for the record…if a tree falls it makes a noise!!!…and if it lands on you…then it hurts…and if you are hurt you should go seek medical attention…and they determine that you need a splint…and they use wood from the tree that fell..and when they used the chainsaw to cut the splint it also made a noise…and when they put the splint on you then you made a loud noise…
which forum should this go again?

Just bring a regular sized bag of charcoal (sorry I don’t use charcoal so I don’t know what size they come in, but basically we don’t need a big wopping sized bag!)…and we will also have a big propane grill as well.
Yes, by all means bring a bug even if it is not posted on the page ahead of time! As long as you drop it on the page virtually after the event then the person could be patient before grabbing it. Hope to see a bunch of bugs there of the travelling kind, not the biting kind…hehehe
It has been interesting reading this thread…and I agree with parts/disagree with others…but rather than rehash the points that have been shared I would like to point out this one minor detail that has not been shared previously….
There are many of the caches that are not going to be physically placed until the morning of the event…this could lead to some frustration of people who decided to search early…there just are not many of the caches out there until the morning of the event due to the nature of the cache/container/hide. The coordinates have already been decided upon and are on the cache sheets, but the physical caches are not going to be ready and placed until right before registration….just a thought to consider.
I guess that is an edit/bump at the same time…hehehe

Awesome job Tim and Carole…thanks for letting us find a few with you along the way! Here’s to many more caching adventures!
Thanks one and all! We had a blast…and since we got engaged via a geocaching theme we just had to do that cache after we said “I Do!”…we are sure that there haven’t been many to do that in their wedding attire. We sent out “his” and “Her” coins in a race to get home…I think “Hers” will win….even though I am already the winner…can’t imagine a better trade item!
you can send them to me..yeah, that’s it…ME!!!
Seriously though it would be an awesome door prize…if you are serious about donating them for the picnic you can send them to me as picnic chair (I will provide my address to you in an email if you would like and I will be sure to bring them to the picnic)
Lorrie (Lil Otter) will appreciate this as a great addition to the donations she is collecting.
hmm…I have never been to an actual NFL game…there just has to be a way to stuff the ticket box….
Thanks for your generosity!!!
Rhondawell, we ventured into quite a few new states on our recent trip…we found caches in the following new states to add to our list: KY, TN, GA, NC, SC, IN
bump…we could still use some items (water especially)!!!

We would like to do some caching besides just the picnic.
What are some must do’s in the area?
Are there any Night Caches close by?
See you soon
Team Kilroy was here!
I am so glad that you asked about night caches…thre is a great one which will be a small drive away that Lil’ Otter placed called “Walking in Circles, Seeing Red?”. We still talk about it…excellent night cache!!! One of our all time favorites…I would consider it a must do!
Yeah! Glad to know others are planning to join in on the fun! All are welcome…can we get other states to join in? Looking forward to it!
