Thanks for the pictures, I’ve also gotten some from luckyastrodiver, and myself in addition to pulling them off of other peoples logs 😀

QUESTION: Just confirming that we will have a projector there? I have picked up a Screen from the library and will be ready for us. (I’ll also bring an extra power cord and strip or two along with my laptop)

Otherwise I’ve gathered a variety of facts, probably too many to include and keep the interest around.

I’ll try and take a look into it sometime soon and see what my conclusions come up with and see what we can do. But it will probably be a couple weeks before I can Dive into it and check it out.

Yea I plan to get those add and many more(referencing the many separate lists i’ve found that all have different listings, some the same though). Just needed to get a couple to test things out.

So far my ideas are….

• More info/details page that have a larger picture, cache types in series, number of caches in series, gc bookmark list, and other detailed information.
• Submission page for users to report new/missing geo-arts
• Ability to report inaccurate data to help me keep things up to date
• keep track of archived geo-arts (later, i have a list of some)
• Search abilities to narrow down selections, say interested in ones with traditionals with over a 100 caches in series
• List of all the 50 state star series
• add ability for people to add comments on a particular series
• page with tips and information on either finding but thinking more toward making/hiding a geoart
• any other potential suggestions by you guys you might like it see/do????????? Or maybe you don’t see the need for this, I’m open to hearing that too

Since I’m up I might as well be FTP for the 9th. And sadly I’ve been having water in the basement with these warm temps and rain. Has made maintenance unable to fix the supposedly “clean AND dry” basement when I moved in almost a year ago :/

As for LCG presentation outline during our time slot I’m thinking

• outline of LCG, what is it, how do you play, etc.
• lead into fun facts of this year, I’ve also got some lifetime facts too
• maybe share some highlight photos? Maybe
• any members with fun LCG stories?? Maybe
• This years standings and top finishers
• Awards

Im completely open to suggestions or changes but figured we should get an outline thrown out.

As for timing I’m good with whatever you are wanting to work with the Chili event and would have people there.

I have gotten pics sent to me by few and have been getting some from logs as well.

 

Thinking potentially have a rotating slide show of the various photos going on whenever.

ive also got some various facts pulled together and in the process of getting some other fun ones to mention during the presentation.

Okay I got 2016 (and 2017) date ranges fixed for the LCG results and so now everyone should be able to see the proper results on the scoreboard. For the overall LCG results for all years, that is still being a problem but working on that still.

Well, that was fun….not! I started my morning just fine, with a great yoga practice. Luckily, it was at the studio in town, not the one on LaCrosse’s northside, because I went out to my car and…..no juice. This happened a couple weeks back but we got it charged up and all’s been fine. Well, the car is over 7 years old with the original battery, should not come as a big surprise. Then began the back and forth with roadside service, the garage to get a new one, yada yada. Early dismissal from school for the kids, so that added another layer of interest. Our son came into town to get Pooh’s Pal, who was having a blast building a snowfort, but stopped to give me a jump so I didn’t have to sit and wait forever in the coffee shop for the roadside guys. Drove to the dealership and was out of there in less than 30 minutes, since they had so many cancellations. Lots of sitting around and not getting much done, but it could have been way worse. Lots of thick sloppy snow and awful roads here.

Hear you on the car troubles. Was having coolant system issues back before xmas. Last night finally got around to doing the work and getting the water pump and thermostat replaced and all…….and this morning the lights pop back on……..Got a couple ideas but UGH!! Cars

I was no where near with my guesses from the first two clues. Was going to try and go looking at one point with the first two but ended up not getting to it. I wouldn’t of gotten anywhere haha. Hadn’t seen the third clue and stuff before leaving town. I still need to work on my puzzle skills I guess.

My moccasins where not the proper choice of shoes for the day. My socks and feet have turned brown and am sitting at my desk at work barefoot haha.
